Anyway, today is my birthday! 🌻 Thank you so much for being here. I endlessly appreciate your support and love. And, as per good old tradition, the best gift for an artist has always been—and remains—a repost.

I doubt I’ll manage to finish the piece by my birthday (July 10th), given how massive the art seems in my head... 🫠

Lately, though, I’ve actually enjoyed sharing work-in-progress screenshots. Why didn’t I do this before? In short: to me, spoilers feel like having a movie’s ending revealed beforehand. Usually, I keep drawing until I’m completely satisfied with the result. But if I show an intermediate stage, I get this strange feeling that I’ve "already" reached my limit. The sense of intrigue vanishes, and with it, the anticipation of the final piece. Still, people seem to really like those kinds of posts...

So, if you’re interested, I could occasionally show the stages of creating my art—from the initial sketch to the final render. It’s just a shame I still dislike spoilers so much...

the thing around jean is the majority of the fandom thinks you either have to love him or hate him, and that there's a solid line separating the two parties. but further, the way in which the loving and hating occurs is kind of.... policed in a way (lol). it leaves no room for anyone to be like you who just don't care for him much, or for people to really analyze his character, without someone jumping in and, even as a joke, defending him from basically nothing. if that makes sense. sorry. this is just my 2 cents. my last 2. harry voice can i have some money.
