And ports for platforms like the ZX Spectrum and NES are cool and creative, but the best ones are made for things that weren’t made to play games on. Doom was played on an e-book reader, a LED Billboard, smartwatch, Canon Pixma printer, Kodak camera, thin MacBook Pro Touchbar, Optimus Maximum keyboard button, screen in a plane seat, calculator and a thermostat. My favourite port is on Porsche 911 - the steering wheel is used to control the character and you change weapons using gears.
