Threatening the Townsfolk
( rumplestiltskin )
“Conrad. What a lovely surprise.” Rumplestiltskin greeted his old friend sarcastically. “The local librarian was just shot because she was seen out on the town line with me.” he reminded Conrad with a steely glare. “If anyone should be running anything, it should be you running around the hospital trying to fix my True Love’s bloody amnesia!” He snapped.
“How am I supposed to leave her now?!” Speaking of spines, his own bent as he nearly collapsed with his worry. “I mean to find my son, and she’d want me to go and do such a thing, but you know I can’t leave her Conrad….” Hands rubbing over his face, he felt ten years older than he already was. God, he was ancient. It was not a pleasant thought.
He had to remind himself that he was talking to a patient’s next of kin and not his friend. Rumplestiltskin now belonged to one of the two groups that he allowed to give him shit. It was one of the many cons of both working and living in a town where everyone knew everyone. Other cons were how impossible it was to escape annoying coworkers and how much harder delivering already hard news became. The truth was that despite not wanting to, leaving her was without a doubt the best thing Rumplestiltskin could do given everything. He had heard about the aftermath regarding his visit. For all he knew Belle would only get worse he stuck around.
“There’s no way of knowing exactly how long this is going to take. If you have any affairs to get in order you shouldn’t wait to do so.” It didn’t feel right to talk about out in the open. “Maybe we should take this somewhere else.”

“A piece of cake. A piece of cake?! That’s all it is to YOU MAYBE!!!”
“It’s an obstacle course. I’m sure you’ll live.” It was a military one but he was sure Jake would be fine. He had to have done something similar at the police academy. Conrad was not above bribery if necessary. Jude had decided to re-enlist, so he needed someone new to compete against.
( lily )
The woman in front of her sounded just like her older sister; Rebekah constantly would nag Lily and tell her how much worth her life held and how she would have such an ‘amazing life’ if she would just get it together. A part of Lily wanted to believe her sister - wanted to believe Sawyer, but Lily knew better. This was the life she chose and there was no other way around it.
Sitting back in her seat, Lily’s arms folded across her chest, her eyes rolling as her attention was pulled elsewhere. “That’s the thing, Sawyer,” Lily sighed. “I don’t want the help,” she finally confessed, her gaze finally falling on the woman trying to help her. “I like how fucked up my life it. I like the inconsistency, I like the battles and the struggle. I know it’s not what you want to hear and I’m sorry, but this is who I am. I’m sorry I wasted your time.”
“You didn’t waste my time.” That wasn’t what she was trying to say. She just wanted Lily to get better. Sawyer was frustrated but that would never be enough for her to get rid of someone. She clenched her hands as tightly as she could, digging her nails into her palms before straightening out her hands. It was something she often found herself doing when her emotions got to be too much for her to handle and there weren’t any distractions available.
“So what you’re just going to continue onto this path? How long would that last? Weeks? Years? Are you going to continue all this inside a nursing home?” She needed a plan for the rest of her life, not an idea for now. “You can’t live like this forever.”
“Maybe you should stuff it up your ass.”

“I’m highly suspicious that anyone who sees you, will want you.” // open starter from brooklyn nine nine’s jake peralta.
“That sounds about right.”
Threatening the Townsfolk
( rumplestiltskin )
“Ladies and gentlemen! Pay attention please. Thank you, thank you. Was that so hard?” Rumplestiltskin cleared his throat to catch the attention of everyone in the room. Though it was only one in particular that he was speaking to. The warning would affect everyone, so he might as well threaten them all, right?
He hummed out a dangerous tune, his eyes turning dark as he placed both hands over his cane, the cane between his legs making for a formidable weapon should he choose to wield it. It’s not like he hasn’t done it before. And it’s also unlike he hasn’t derived pleasure from doing such an unspeakable act, either. Rumplestiltskin Gold was a wicked man, and he knew it.
Perks of being the Dark One for two centuries, he supposed.
But back to his favourite pastime! He let out an impish giggle, not unlike the ones from the stories. The ones from the past, should say. For all the stories were true. All the legends were real. And Rumplestiltskin…. The Dark One was one of the most fearsome of all of the tales.
“If ANYTHING happens to Belle whilst I’m gone, I’ll kill all of you. Without a thought. Well, that’s probably not true. I’ll think about how much I’m enjoying ripping the guts from your spineless bodies.”
He shot a glare around the room, ensuring that his word was good.
He really needed to invest in better friends, maybe some that couldn’t kill him without wasting their breath. Watching the people’s reactions and waiting for his chance to swoop in and save the day he separated them into two categories: the smart ones and the ones he respected. The smart ones cowered, made themselves look smaller and the other ones looked ready to kick some Dark One ass.
Conrad didn’t bother trying to hide his amusement as he finally gave in and went to approach Rumplestiltskin- he did have the brains to settle his face into something more neutral once he got there though. “I don’t think the local librarian is too high on anyone’s kill list.” He hadn’t really gotten to know her but from what he’d seen his assessment seemed fair. “You, on the other hand, might have a running dead pool all around town.” He made eyes with some people watching the scene play out, a silent sign that if there was, in fact, a dead pool then he wanted in.
( mr. medina )
“You know I can’t, Rory.”
“I know.” It sucked. Anything that required her to not tell her mother about something automatically sucked.
( mr. medina )
“Did you need some help with the assignment from earlier?” // open starter from Hartford’s English teacher, Max Medina.
“Wha- Oh!” She had originally been staying back to put some distance between herself and Paris but she could use the help. Rory would probably be back the next day to confirm which ideas of her would fit the best. Maybe she could use the extra time she’d save to reread The Odyssey. It had been a while. “Sure, of course. Thank you.”

“What’s lazy mean? Get up! Come on!”
“Those are the words of a dead man.” Despite her words, she still got up, although slowly and with her eyes only half-open. “Who knew ass-kissing had such annoying consequences.” Her entire body was still aching from the hellish workout that she had put herself through the day before in an attempt to bond with her boss and guarantee herself a raise.
open to: f/nb/m (only open to something platonic when it comes to f tho)
connections: anything you could think of basically, examples being best friend, family member, partner, coworker
“Screw you,” Sawyer said, showing no regret for her words. “You keep trying to prove to me that you’re this fuck up and you ignore me every. single. time I tell you that you’re not.” There was a certain irony to the fact that the discussions and disagreements of their so-called flaws were pushing her away more than the actual faults.
She had always been a patient person, you had to be as a social worker, but she was also a no-nonsense woman and she had done enough beating around the bush. “You need help.” Her voice softened. “You need to want help.”
“Maybe you should tell her that.”
