Since I've started posting videos on my original channel again and am trying to promote videos from both channels here despite them being very different in style, going forward I'm going to include a tag to differentiate between the two (in case people can't fully see the titles). Watchalong videos will have a tag that is simply "watchalong", while the videos from my original channel will have a tag of "standard format" since the videos on that channel are edited in a way that is more in line with what people typically expect from reaction videos. Hopefully this helps the single-digit number of people here who actually like some of my content 🙂

While the characters and their dynamic are obviously super different here than in the actual show (and they also don't even really interact that much in this pilot all things considered), I still feel like Luz and Amity had a sort of chemistry that meant Lumity was always going to be a thing for the series ^.^

Oh, there's also this version if you don't like watchalongs with a bunch of additional commentary and post-episode stuff I guess. Also also this episode was actually recorded a few weeks ago! But then it got shelved for a bit while I prioritized other stuff that I thought would be more relevant to The Algorithm™, not that that ended up mattering for fuck all!

I sort of went out of my way to compliment Chilchuck last episode, and now this episode he repays me by making fun of Marcille in her pretty new dress?? UGH, MEN!

Speaking of that dress, yes it's pretty and it's in the thumbnail, but I am a bit disappointed that we didn't get a sequence of Marcille trying on multiple stylish and chic outfits T^T

Fucking LMAO bro! I am yet again being absolutely assfucked by copyright on YouTube in a way that BASICALLY NO OTHER REACT CHANNEL SEEMS TO BE! And you know none of the companies doing it are buying me dinner or even a fucking coffee first. There are fucking scores of channels that post basically the entire fucking thing they're "reacting" to, and I put reacting in quotes there because tons of these "creators" also do fuck all to actually react. They don't have interesting expressions, they don't provide any sort of meaningful commentary during or after the episode, you're lucky if you get an unemotive "oh wow 😐" out of them during one of the most climactic scenes in the series! Most of these fucks are also not the least bit funny or entertaining, they don't do anything interesting with their editing, and I frequently wonder if they actually even pay the fuck attention to what they're watching given how absolutely piss poor their understanding of the original content is.

And yet for some reason! All of these videos stay up. These types of mediocre (at best) "reaction" videos are deemed entirely legitimate instances of fair use and aren't struck down and removed due to copyright, but for some fucking reason, I can't get comparable treatment. I have had to struggle and re-edit every fucking video the entire time I've tried having this channel regardless of the series or the company that owns the rights to it. I have had so many videos never see actual viewership because no matter how I try to appease the fucking corporate overlords of copyright it doesn't. Fucking. MATTER. So much wasted time and energy when I'm just trying to have some fun doing things that tons of other people are doing, but with what I consider to be a better sense of professionalism and higher standards. But since I don't know the magic fucking words that I can only assume every other fucking reaction channel on the fucking platform is familiar with, I can't keep most of my videos up to save my fucking life. What the fuck ever man...

And since I know Tumblr is the only place I can do something like this without everyone getting their panties in a wad taking it too seriously, here's a poll!

Oh, in my rage I actually forgot something I wanted to add: fuck Ludwig, fuck Mr. Beast, and fuck any and every content creator who claims that this shit is "99% skill". It is very blatantly not if you pay the slightest bit of attention and have functioning brain cells. Being successful at content creation for the overwhelming majority of people is at least 80% luck and how much money you have. And for those not included in that overwhelming majority? Most of them make their names by being social parasites and dickriding off bigger content creators until they've siphoned enough popularity to try and sustain themselves.

It's actually so fucking cringe. Succeeding in content creation is legitimately so fucking similar to the corporate rat race and people either just don't recognize it or refuse to admit that's the case. It's the fucking American Dream all over again, where the lie pushed by those at the top is that if you just put in the consistent effort ("pull yourself up by your bootstraps", anyone?), then even you can be successful - just like them! Fuck any kind of acknowledgement about how unfair or inconsistent the systems in place are, just tell people that if they're not "making it big" then it's because they're just not good enough and need to figure out what they're doing wrong. Sure, some smaller creators who never get big suck at what they do, but you cannot look me in the eye and tell me that there aren't PLENTY of big creators that also fucking suck but somehow maintain their success... just because! I'm so fucking sick of it all.
