the sound designer, as it turns out, is also a doctor who fan. i share a name with one of the major doctor who companions (a top 3 nuwho companion in my humble opinion). he has taken to calling me by that character’s last name. it’s all i hear him call me by now.

I love Doctor Who because it could be argued that the cinematography is not the best. I genuinely love that old sfx look that has weird, not-quite believable monsters. It reminds me so dearly of my childhood, when I would watch the ninja power rangers series??? It’s such a fun and wonderful show, and the shitty sfx only adds to that whimsy.
