forgive my bluntness here but kaeun’s career has reached an impasse. she hasn’t seen any real momentum following the conclusion of produce 48 and i think it’s fair to say that mnet is despicable for giving her such a huge glimmer of hope, only to let her fade back into obscurity at such an expedited rate

knowing now her rightful place was in iz*one is the closure we all needed but unfortunately it really!! really!! hurts people like kaeun who entered the program not simply to chase dreams, but as a last ditch effort to resuscitate their own livelihood. that’s a hard pride pill to swallow.
