What’s something you have learned this year?

I’ll go first,

I learned that Allah will truly exceed your expectations when it’s His time to give. It’s not a myth or something that happens only for the prophets. It was something I had always known but this year, I experienced it and subhanallah every ounce of patience is worth the reward. Every pain for it, is worth it. Allahu Akbar.

Even when you feel you don’t deserve it, Allah still gives beyond what you thought you would receive, and his rahmah (mercy) will make you cry out of shukr (thankfulness) and love for Him.

So stay patient with a beautiful patience and expect only the best from your merciful Rabb, Al-Wadud 🤍 & He will give the best for you.

May Allah عز وجل exceed our expectations and grant us the best of blessings in the akhirah, ameen.

I don’t really want much from this life. The simple things mean the most to me. The quiet things are precious. But, what I do want is to always be close to my Allah. I never want to be without Him.

I know I am fortunate to have a beautiful relationship with Him and honestly, I will always treasure what we have because it’s rare and real. His love is so fulfilling and precious. I don’t ever want to be without it. I spent so long yearning to be close to Him, now, to have Him so close to me, I don’t think I will ever let Him go. Not even for a moment.

Nothing is worth sacrificing our relationship with Allah. He is the light of our heart, the only One who brings us comfort and ease and eternal happiness.
