-Our time was up and my daughter and I were killed while helping Sam and Dean, which I don't think either of us regret. This was the life we chose to live, and now we are being given another chance.
There are a few questions I have, and they are: will we choose the same type of lifestyle? Does it even exist where we are going? Are we going to the same place? My mind was filled with thoughts and the only thing I could see was darkness around me.
I sat on the floor with my legs crossed and my eyes closed. Years have passed since my daughter and I died, and I slowly opened my eyes to see the light now surrounding me.
I looked around and saw that I was sitting in the middle of the woods on the dirt ground. I stood up and looked around before taking notice of the blue sky above me. I am being surrounded by the trees as the birds sing. It felt like I was alive again. Was I?-
Years had passed since that fateful day in Carthage. Jo and her mother had sacrificed themselves to allow Sam and Dean to escape and go after Lucifer. She didnât regret the decision for a second. What they were doing was important. End of the world important. She would have preferred not to die, but that wasnât in the cards for her.
Jo had been in her own version of heaven. One where her parents were together and they were safe and happy. It was a warm feeling and Jo was at peace.
And then suddenly, with no warning, she found herself in a dense forest where a watery light filtered through the trees. There was dirt on face and clothes and leaves in her hair. She lifted her shirt to discover some silvery looking scars on her abdomen. She traced them lightly with her fingertips. They didnât hurt, but there was a tingling feeling in her body as if it was just waking up. With no desire to remain where she was, she started walking with the hope of finding civilization.
It seemed to him, that years had passed within the flash of an moment. He could barely remember heaven, he remembers the Roadhouse, of seeing Ellen there, with little Jo, welcoming him home from the dangerous hunt with John Winchester. A hunt that he remembers vividly, every tear into his body by the hell Spawn, and begging John to end his life, before he turned into one of the monsters they hunted. Did he survive?
He barely had time to enjoy even then breath of his own heaven when he felt something grab him, and pull him down, so violently and fast, it felt like he was about to explode from the inside out. Then he was on the ground, fighting for his breath, cold and confused. He heard the birds up in the sky, screeching because he had disturbed them, he heard scattering hoof steps as deer scattered away from the scene.
He rolled on to his side and lay there for a long while, catching his breath, feeling the crisp air breeze through his hair, listening to the sound of his own heartbeat, and he knew he was alive. He pushed himself to his feet and looked around, he was in the middle of the forest, but around where he landed, the trees had been knocked down. His clothes were still torn from the attack, but there was no blood, no gapping wounds, just nothing but he knew he had been torn apart. He began to talk through the forest, his mind trying to process what was happening, spinning off in different directions and he continued to walk, thinking to himself he was bound to come upon some sort of road or high way sooner or later.
