why does the fandom literally never talk about sam and michael? sam was canonically raped not just by lucifer, but by michael too.

I think the absolute horror of the scene where sam goes "i will kill myself before letting you in" to lucifer and lucifer rolls his eyes and goes "and I'll just bring you back" is soooo underrated. jared plays it so well too, the shock and the hopelessness in his eyes. lucifer feeling so possessive (ha) over sam, and sam realizing that no, he's not going to escape this unscathed, if he escapes at all. it's so tasty

michael torturing sam with the idea of purification, telling sam how evil he is, how tainted his demon blood is, how much filth stains his soul, that the pain is penance for his sins, etc... and when it's over lucifer immediately begins love bombing him, holding him gently and consoling him and healing him and telling sam he's the only one who loves every single part of him

and sam doesn't know which one is worse, because he wants to be purified and he knows punishment is what he deserves, but he's so, so desperate for the few precious seconds he gets to feel something other than pain.

sam hates himself for looking forward to it. he takes the comfort and melts into the embraces and clings to lucifer for safety the way he used to cling to dean. lucifer makes him beg for it and say 'thank you', and the worst part is that sam genuinely begins to feel grateful

sam almost feels relief that maybe none of it was real. that dean is happy and alive above ground while he rots in the cage waiting for another round of mind-games.
