School day

It was 7 in the morning, the September sun beginning to rise above the buildings in the little city that Emily and Maxwell lived in. Emily was beginning to put sunscreen over her body, as she walked with Max down the sidewalk and to Evening Star Academy. “You need to relax, every wolf has to deal with… that.” She would circle her finger around her friend’s face, before pushing Max’s glasses up.
Max was busy trying to shave off some extra fur thst appeared on his face that morning, a huff leaving him. “You don’t get it. I’m not suppose to have my morning fur already. I’m still suppose to have another year left before I have to deal with this.” He practically growled, yanking the fur out practically.“
"You’re an early bloomer.” She would chuckle.
Haemon’s eyes grew in disbelief, but he kept his mouth and gave the professor a small nod of understanding. Neoma was waiting in the hallway when he came out and the two started walking together. “ ‘A need-to-know basis’ my ass,” he muttered, earning a chuckle from his sister. “ I do need to know actually, because I want to know.” “ What if the professor was lying-what if there isn’t anyone who remembers? What if it’s some database instead?” Neoma suggested, just to be creative. “ If the gods have the humans simulated on Earth, maybe it was also technology that gave us our history.”
Max and Emily were behind Haemon and Neoma then. Max was heading for gym, while Emiky had another class in the same direction. Max was wholeheartedly, keeping his head down and the scarf around his face, even seeming to pull it over his nose. Emily couldn't help but move forward so that she was now walking beside the siblings. "Good. I'm glad you're starting early with your distrust in the government. That's how you become a true rebel." At least according to Emily's parents.
