The thing about progress is this: as more oppressed peoples have more audible voices, society is forced change to meet the needs of people that the privileged usually ignored. Change is uncomfortable if you’re not the one that needs it. Try a little empathy instead.
What needs are those exactly, anon? Because so far all I’ve seen is a need from black tumblr to validate their racism towards white people, and I won’t do that.
Just wanted to let you know that there are PoC who follow and appreciate this blog!
And your follows are extremely appreciated! Thank you!
Please don't say "loon", it is ableist.
Are you actually for real with this, anon?
Feminism that includes men is not feminism at all
Wow this plugin is great menkampf.com
Comparing feminism to the systematic murder of Jews is antisemitic, you’re fucking disgusting.
No it’s...
another jew here telling y’all that that post is indeed antisemitic and trivializing as fuck. you don’t get to be the spokesperson for all jews dude, especially not ones more marginalized than you
I love how you think the words “non-binary” make you more marginalized. Oh please, stop these oppression olympics. A quick browse of your blog shows you’re really just a goy. Step off.
Anita Sarkeesian was invited to speak on several panels about feminism and the impacts of online harassment at the 2015 All About Women conference taking place annually at the Sydney Opera House. Here is a video excerpt of her short opening speech on the panel, “How to be a feminist”.The full panel with Clementine Ford, Roxane Gay, Germaine Greer, Celeste Liddle, and Tara Moss is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzcs4ti_bdI Also see Anita on the “What I Couldn’t Say” panel: http://wp.me/pwSlB-7ER Full video transcript available: http://wp.me/pwSlB-7Fw
1- Talk about how much things oppress you.
2- Buy a webcam.
3- Repeat step 1 and upload videos to youtube with links to your paypal
4- Profits feminism.
Oooh!! BINGO!!
Here is the definition of racism, because I am tired of hearing that white people, particularly white Jewish people like myself, have never experienced extreme episodes of systemic racism. Even Merriam Webster recognises us.
remember, you can’t be racist to white people.
This makes me laugh every time. At no point does the definition say that just because someone has been oppressed at some point, they can no longer be racist OR that anyone who hasn’t experienced extreme oppression can not be victim of racism.
Don’t you just love how Tumblr feels entitled to change words they simply dislike? They already took feminism/t and racism/t, culture, mental health. What’s next?

5 Feminist Myths That Will Not Die
If we’re genuinely committed to improving the circumstances of women, we need to get the facts straight.
Much of what we hear about the plight of American women is false. Some faux facts have been repeated so often they are almost beyond the reach of critical analysis. Though they are baseless, these canards have become the foundation of Congressional debates, the inspiration for new legislation and the focus of college programs. Here are five of the most popular myths that should be rejected by all who are genuinely committed to improving the circumstances of women:
MYTH 1: Women are half the world’s population, working two-thirds of the world’s working hours, receiving 10% of the world’s income, owning less than 1% of the world’s property.
FACTS: This injustice confection is routinely quoted by advocacy groups, the World Bank, Oxfam and the United Nations. It is sheer fabrication. More than 15 years ago, Sussex University experts on gender and development Sally Baden and Anne Marie Goetz, repudiated the claim: “The figure was made up by someone working at the UN because it seemed to her to represent the scale of gender-based inequality at the time.” But there is no evidence that it was ever accurate, and it certainly is not today.
Precise figures do not exist, but no serious economist believes women earn only 10% of the world’s income or own only 1% of property. As one critic noted in an excellent debunking in TheAtlantic, “U.S. women alone earn 5.4 percent of world income today.” Moreover, in African countries, where women have made far less progress than their Western and Asian counterparts, Yale economist Cheryl Doss found female land ownership ranged from 11% in Senegal to 54% in Rwanda and Burundi. Doss warns that “using unsubstantiated statistics for advocacy is counterproductive.” Bad data not only undermine credibility, they obstruct progress by making it impossible to measure change.

Jagermeister sponsors a pool party, turns the water into poison
The idea was pretty cool on paper if you ignore laws of physics and chemistry.
Marketer No.1: “Oh, and you know what would be really cool? If the swimming pool had this cool mist coming off of it, like in a music video or some shit. Let’s pour liquid nitrogen into the water! Man, I wonder why nobody has tried this before!?!”

Ted Cruz’s official entry into the Republican primary guarantees a battle during the next 16 months over exactly the wrong things: how to get even tougher on immigration, why we must repeal Obamacare, why taxes should be cut on the wealthy, why safety nets have to be shrunk further, why Medicare and Social Security have to be slashed, why abortions should be harder to get, and why the military should be expanded. Cruz and his likely opponents (Walker, Christie, Huckabee, Rubio, Paul, Jindal, Santorum, Perry, and Bush) will talk about little else.
Meanwhile, what will we hear be hearing from the Democrats? A vigorous debate over Wall Street’s toxic influence over the economy and American democracy? Why the Trans Pacific Partnership and other trade deals are killing American workers and boosting corporate profits? Why unions are critical to the middle class? Why CEO pay must be limited and the minimum wage raised to $15 an hour? Why taxes should be hiked on the rich to pay for better schools and infrastructure for everyone else? Why Social Security should be expanded by raising the cap on income subject to the payroll tax?
At the rate we’re going, none of these. Hillary Clinton isn’t likely to bring them up on her own. Elizabeth Warren has said she will not run, but I’m holding out hope.
Blackout II is coming! 💕💕💕💕😁😁💕💕💕💕 get excited
Who cares? Lol.
“Spaniards” - Stop appropriating Latin cultures. You never have been and never will be Hispanic. You are white devils.
Well, this isbsome top kek shit right here, dogs-against-sjw, youmakemyteethitch, junsnoh
If this kid is not a fucking troll, then somebody didn’t keep their appointment at the abortion clinic.
This blog has 3% Arab in his abouts. Come on guys, this a long con troll. It helps to realize it’s a young geeky teenager from Sweden too, haha.
I keep anonymous asks open to force you to choose to stand with your full conviction behind what you say.
How do u feel about @anti-feminism-pro-equality doing another hashtag with selfies on the next #blackout date exactly like she did last time with #selfieweek & #whiteout? U can find some of the info on @afpe-ask-blog
i feel nothing. it won’t make a difference or derail blackout because it’s a weak movement created by racist white trolls. if you follow the right people, it won’t end up on your dash. their lame selfie day is gonna be eclipsed by #blackout.
-D
are you referencing the Autism Awareness Selfie Day that i planned on April 2 which happens to be planned on the national AUTISM AWARENESS DAY AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR PRECIOUS BLACKOUT?
What’s a better movement? Something that talks about autism, educates people about it, or a “movement” where black people post selfies with titles like “fuck yo mayo ass ugly crackers I’m a melanin goddess”
Idiots
exposingracists, autism is not racist. Lol.
You all are so full of shit lmao. First of all, anon told me that is was planned the same day as black out day so I responded to the information that was given to me. 2nd of all, anon did not mention autism or autism awareness day at all so y’all are reaching like hell. Anyway, I find it really odd/suspect that y’all would plan a “selfie day” on the same week as our day. Especially since you were so against blackoutday. Yes, AAD is on a specific day and has been going on for years but you’re a very dishonest and anti-black person so I don’t really feel you have a genuine concern for people who have Autism. I don’t feel like you even want to whole-heartedly spread awareness. But if people with autism support your cause, that’s cool and I hope the day goes well for their sake, not yours.
-D
Really? Im anti black and i hte blackout? Can you fucking SHOW me where i have presented any anti black or anti blackout behavior? Show me where i said i hate black people, show me where i said i was against blackout, show and prove bitch.
And its suspicious that i planned the autism day in the same week as your second blackout? DID YOU IGNORE THE PART WHERE ITS PLANNED ON NATIONAL AUTISM AWARENESS DAY?!?!?
i mean, at this point you’re pulling shit out of your ass. Show me where i said i was anti black or anti blackout.
Also, dont take anything an anon says at face value. You should be smart enough to realize that.
Why the fuck should their be a second block out day anyways? They had their day.. Let others have theirs. Oh but no they want to be treated special like the entitled pricks who think they should have something just cause they are a certain race or whatever. Grow up. Let people with Autism have their day or week or whatever you crazy self entitled fucks.
This is why I don’t take this autism selfie day seriously because most of it’s supporters are anti-black and anti blackout, so whatever. Like y’all do realize there are black people who have autism and that your negativity regarding blackout can turn them off to the Autism selfie day? &&And we can have 300 black out days if we want, who gone check us? Guess you’re just gonna have to deal with it, lmao! whenever we wanna do something we’re entitled omg this is just a M E S S
-D
YALL WOULDN’T EVEN BEEN THINKING BOUT NO FUCKING AUTISM SELFIE DAY TILL BLACK OUT! I WOULD SUPPORT YOUR AUTISM DAY BUT THE WAY YA’LL DO STUFF IS SO FUCKING ASS BACKWARDS. I REALLY FEEL LIKE YOU ONLY DOING IT TO TAKE AWAY FROM BLACKOUT. AND ITS DISGUSTING THAT YOU ARE USING AUTISM AS AN EXCUSE TO DO IT.
This is going to happen regarding any future first friday of the month on Tumblr. This day does not belong to blackout, and no one is trying to stop you from having a blackout on that day either. I see absolutely no reason why we can’t have an Autism Selfie Day on Autism Awareness Day. No one is trying to take away from blackout.
immaculate
This is like an anti-SJW hattrick. This should qualify you for the MVP award.
I've noticed that black tumblr really likes to squelch out any productive discussion on this site. And that includes voices of other poc who are pretty much forced to bow down to black tumblr (and say it's "solidarity") because if they don't, they'll get bombarded with hateful messages and insults. It's really sad actually
It is incredibly unfortunate, especially when the black community on Tumblr will actually call other PoC who speak against them things like “coon” or “uncle Tom.” It’s sad because a lot of them raise valid points and are so intelligent, yet their voices are systematically and methodically put down by other PoC. Some blogs I really admire who go against the popular grain:thedayileftthewomb

Thank you!
I’ve been told to kill myself, drink bleach, called anti black, that I had a white mentality and called white all within the past three months. I eagerly await the day I am told that I am a race traitor for having a white husband (or something along those lines). Then I’ll have hit bingo
That’s horrid. I get the same types of messages, but I kind of always thought they would at least tone down the “kill yourself” stuff to their fellow PoC. Why is it that mixed race couples are always the most open and understanding of all viewpoints? You and thedayileftthewomb are both in mixed relationships (I believe she’s dating a Puerto Rican guy, sorry if I’m wrong), and you both have some of the most intelligent, well-rounded views of anyone on this entire website.
