Richard entered the studio, took off his aviators, looked at the photographer, and turned again to leave. His agent grabbed his arm, stopping him.

“Tom, I’m not doing this,” Richard said, trying to free his arm.

“Grow up. You’re doing this,” Tom said, dragging him into the studio.

“You knew about this?” he growled, pulling his arm free and stopping.

“It’s been almost two bloody years, Richard. And yes, I knew about it. I signed you up the instant the opportunity presented itself despite that.”

Richard looked at him, pain in his blue eyes. “Why?” he whispered.

“Because you never stopped loving him.”
