EN Sculpture made of coconut, metal, chains, silk, feathers, fur, pearls, pyrite, porcelain fragments, glass and semi-precious stones, and found amulets. Caput Inferni is part of the TSANTSA NOVA series and explores possession, desire, and entanglement. A sealed mouth, coins, and layers of amulets mark language as a resource and wealth as a binding force. The work operates with an occult vocabulary: associations with Saturn and Mars, the rune Fehu, and the Tarot card The Devil (XV). The South functions as a semantic field of heat, gold, and abundance, where every form of plenty inevitably carries its shadow price.
