2nd piece from my children's illustration series about nature-related mythological deities: "Astraeus". In Greek mythology, Astraeus was the Titan god of stars and planets. By Eos, he was the father of the Stars, the four seasonal winds and the five "Astra Planeta" (known also as wandering stars): Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Mercury. Done using gouache and coloured pencils on paper. 🎨 What's your favorite planet in our solar system? 😊
