the weird route is my favorite example of art that's meant to make you uncomfortable for a reason. even in undertale, i've never played the genocide route because i can't bring myself to hurt characters i care about. they're just pixels and code, sure, but i actually like that i react that way.

maybe i'm too introspective, but what unsettles me isn't just the violence. it's the way the weird route turns our desire for control into something destructive. we push kris, manipulate noelle, and slowly destroy relationships that could've lasted a lifetime.

and that's exactly why i admire it. not because i enjoy what's happening, but because it makes me genuinely uncomfortable. it forces me to pay attention to every little detail and makes me wonder how far these kids can be pushed before they finally break. the fact that the answer feels so close is what scares me.

i'd never play the weird route myself, or even watch a full playthrough. edits, analysis, fan art or even spoiling it for myself is enough for me.

i'd i say don't enjoy the route, I admire how effectively it makes me not want to experience it.
