This is @abdalsalam2000's blog banner. Nader is a Palestinian teenager trying to raise money for his family of seven (parents, brothers, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew) to escape the genocide in Gaza.
He's been active on tumblr for a long while now, and was one of the first to have their campaigns vetted: #4 on the gazavetters list! His goal is €50,000 (equivalent to around $56,723 with current exchange rates) which would enable his family to travel to safety.
Nader has worked extremely hard to raise these funds--tirelessly initiating conversations with strangers on tumblr, building social relationships, and promoting his campaign. He's raised €41,213 so far.
I can't imagine how hard it must be to have worked so hard, for so long, under such brutal conditions. To be so close to raising the total funds you need (82% of the way there!) but because you are just under €9,000 short, your family is still trapped.
Please help him raise the remaining 18%. After all of this, let it not be in vain.

I am writing this on behalf of my friend Ibrahim @aburakhiaibrahim. Ibrahim is only 20, but instead of getting to study, work, or enjoy his life, he is living through a genocide.
Ibrahim and his family of 28 are living in the ruins of their home. They are all exhausted and hungry, suffering from the lack of food and other basic necessities and aid in Ghazzah.
As well as this, since the war began again, they have to live in constant fear of bombing. Recently, Ibrahim attempted to film a video, but the sound of bombing was too loud to speak or be heard over.
