(ALL OF THIS IS NONSEXUAL) Dart/Fakie - 18 - sideblog for my tummy stuff, mostly stuffing, nd general food stuff, some vore too. also a big fan of toons :]
HEY REMINDER saying this right now for anyone whoâs following me and needs to hear it!!!! âextreme cuddlingâ is a nonsexual vore term!!!! it belongs to the nonsexual side of the community. please be respectful of that đ!!!
seen way too many people assume itâs for them when it isnât </3
telling other voreaphiles that a term "isn't for them" because they get off to vore (because.. because its a fetish) is about the most buckwild thing I've read all week.
it was created specifically by our community man you dont gotta be like that. shrug
im seeing u out here replying to other peoples blogs for like no reason other than to put them down for having a niche interest in something in a different way than you do. people who enjoy vore nonsexually didnt kill your grandma. just block and move on its not a big deal like at all
if youd like an explanation of any kind (although im sure youve already read them all and scoffed) its just a concept that provides me â and has provided me â comfort for well over a decade. the concept of being as close as possible to somebody in that way isnt an inherently sexual thing, in the same way something like cannibalism isnt. it feels like youre going after a very small community of people for enjoying something in a way you do not personally understand
i dont hold anything against you for enjoying vore in the way that you do and i respect your community; we are just on two different sides of the same coin
my personal opinion but I feel like if you're gonna pretend/roleplay/make art of your persona being digested you should completely remove that character from any future writings other than like talking about them from the past
Or actually act like you were digested in real life
movie night with a pred who is just a little too hungry to fill up on popcorn and has a particularly appetizing-looking tiny nestled in the crook of their arm. Send post
hey there !! i was kind of doomscrolling your blog at 1-2 am and came across a few posts that made me realize i gotta turn around my thinking on vore (mostly the part where i'm older than someone and being afraid of getting in trouble for something like a "hi!! i love your art !!" yk ?) and also just be comfortable with it instead of being ashamed. do you have any tips ?
i want to be able to me comfortable with this aspect of myself (bc i use it to cope) and not be all Grody and Stinkyâ˘ď¸ like some other not-so-cool people
-đ
aw hey haha!!! I was wondering why I had so many notifs >:]
I really struggled with this interest of mine for a long time, so I understand you. when I was younger I actually convinced myself I hated it to try to feel ânormalâ. It took a long time to break free of that mindset and accept that this was a major part of my life.
the fact that youâre self-conscious about how you donât want to come off (and youâre afraid of coming off badly) already means you arenât âGrody and Stinkyâ˘ď¸â at all! you sincerely just want to enjoy this thing that comforts you and be a good person while you do it, and thatâs admirable. good job!!!
personally, I still struggle with feeling ashamed of this interest of mine sometimes, and I think a little bit of embarrassment is okay. Iâm not one to preach it to the world, but I know that my interest is completely harmless and makes me happy no matter how silly it seems. remember: youâre not hurting a soul by liking something âweirdâ!
I hope I was able to help even a little â good luck! :]
Cw// vulgar language, vent-ish post, ough, talking about vore
I feel like some people don't understand what the word nonsexual means. When I say I enjoy the trope of 'vore' nonsexually, I don't mean that I sexually get off to scenerios/art/writing that don't involve sex or overt sexual themes. I mean I am literally not sexually interested in the content. Pictures of monsters eating people does not sexually exite me, my dick doesn't go up, it is not a sexual interest of mine. How is this such a difficult concept to convey to some people?
I get real philosophical under the cut so be warned it's loooooong.
I feel like people try to rationalize anything weird or abnormal with "oh it must be a fetish", and a lot of the time sure, that's true. But not always.
Honestly, someone being interested in specifically media about being eaten whole for non-fetishistic reasons is a lot more uncommon and abnormal than someone being interested in the same sort of stuff for sexual reasons. With the latter, people have a clear motive & reason for why someone would like something so odd. It gives them sexual gratification. It feels good. (And here's nothing wrong with that).
It's a much easier explanation than only "I find near familial comfort in the idea of being surrounded and consumed by another living thing", or "I think the insides of living things can be fascinating and beautiful" or "I think being eaten whole is a grippingly terrifying horror trope" or "I use this as a coping mechanism with abandonment issues", etc etc etc.
It doesn't help that many people who are interested in the eaten-alive trope found this because of inherently sexual fetish artwork. I'm definitely no different, I believed I was sexually interested in vore for a few years while I was a young asexual teenager who hadn't felt actual sexual attraction yet, and didn't know what that felt like. Adults saw I wasn't grossed out by vore art, even finding it interesting, and just told me I was kinky. I legitimately believed myself to be a vorarephile until I found out what I was actually into sexually; and realized I did not feel the same way about vore.
Finding this stuff via fetish spaces means a lot of tropes of vorarephilia art/lingo/etc rub off on the way you make your own content. It's why I believe nonsexual vore looks so similar to fetishistic vore in many cases, one was inspired by the other, only without the sexual intent behind it. It's why you still see the same language used as well. "Pred", "prey", the same sort of fatal/safe, willing/unwilling, hard/soft wording, use of kink related terms like "mouthplay" "aftercare", along with the use of the word "vore" itself. Because of stuff like this, this community functions as a smaller nonsexual offshoot/subset of a much larger sexually oriented community.
This causes a lot of problems, like how minors can really only find nonsexual vore by first going through fetishistic sexual vore, an adult space they should not be involved in. As well as how it's adjacency to a fetish community puts aforementioned minors at greater risk of sexual predation, as well as sexually traumatized or otherwise vulnerable people.
It's because of this I'm an advocate of completely distancing this space from vore entirely. We really need to come up with our own terms instead of using fetish ones. Even down to the word vore. I've come up with a few alternatives myself, E-A/T being the main one. I encourage others to brainstorm as well, and we'll see what sticks.
