" 'badniks', did you call them?" he stares at the little white droid that's floating, nudging at his hand curiously. julius and ivo were technically the same person albeit different lives & circumstances. so, to the little bad-drone, julius supposed he wasn't considered a threat or a target. he gives it a small pat on the bit he supposes is the top of it's 'head', the motion awkward. hoping that'll sate the thing enough to have it leave him be.

"yes, badniks," ivo replied with a wave of his hand, his expression neutral despite the twinge of aggravation he felt. "it is a play on my last name, obviously."

he pauses then, looking at how one of his little egg-drones seemed to have taken a liking to julius, which was hardly a surprise. on the outside they looked the same, so he couldn't fault the little badnik at all.

"arcturus likes you, it seems. if you continue to indulge him he won't ever leave you be."

it didn't take long for robotnik to trace where the distress signal had originated from, and the doctor wondered if G.U.N. had found shadow again. it was a main reason he had wanted him to stay in the crab and not go out all willy nilly like he had been.

that frown doesn't leave him, head lilting to the side just a fraction. "and you're bald, how quaint." his arms cross, an eyebrow jutting upwards as his other demands to know who he is. a fit of laughter threatens him, but julius quells that urge. for now. "i'm you. well, an alternate version of you. we've led different lives, no doubt." am i going to go bald? he certainly HOPED not. & there was no chance in hell julius would ever grow such a horrendous looking moustache.

"I am bald, correct! would you like a gold star for stating the blatantly obvious, other me?" ivo grins, but his eyes narrowed soon after despite himself. "how did you get here? multiversal travel, I suspect?"
