diagnoses (subject to change):

autism - adhd [combined type] - major depressive disorder [in remission!] - medically recognised dissociative system

as aforementioned, I have autism and adhd. I am physically incapable of masking and consider myself a level 2 autistic. I also have low empathy- and whilst i can mask that to an extent, I may come off as rude, blunt, or inconsiderate. please keep in mind that if I do, it is not out of a place of malice.

I am in therapy. I am actively being treated by a therapist and psychiatrist. I am on antidepressants.

my sexuality is whatever you make of it. I'm a fagdyke, or a "lesgay/gaybian," or if we're getting super specific then I'd fall under omnisexual.

"hot"-ish (?) take but if you tell someone with a stigmatised disorder (literally any personality disorder, any paraphilic disorder, conduct disorder, ANY kind of addict, any eating disorder, fuck even depression in my experience + probably other things I cant remember right now) over and over again that they are bad people for their illness, that they can and will NEVER EVER change even SLIGHTLY for the better and there's no point trying, they will internalise it and actively stop trying. you know why? because they're a living, breathing, sentient human being just like you who needs support. a low chance of recovery does not mean ZERO chance of recovery, and giving up on someone more often than not will lead to them subsequently giving up on themselves and making everything worse.

yes I specifically mentioned personality disorders for a reason. people with ASPD or NPD, even if or when they actively cause someone to harm other people, deserve respect and treatment to manage their symptoms and hurt others - and themselves - less.

thought too much about the possibility my "abuse" was actually child torture (specifically a psychological variant) and I'm feeling unwell. not overtly psychologically distressed but mentally "sick," like you would when thinking or feeling something that goes against your self image or having to do something that goes against your moral code. might try to sleep now.
