Evolution : 2014 vs. 2017

First pic is the original picture, second is the edit from 2014 and last is from today. You can see the flaws as his skin looks red without any glowing, the tattoo is greenish, there’s this yellow filter all over; the image is plain. The last edit was made today and was thought with a positive and fighting spirit, the exposure is exaggerated to give it a strong look with contrasts, bold lines make him look like an old kitsch Chinese Kung-Fu movie.

State of mind, for artists, gives your art different vibes. Who you truly are, you true self, is revealed through your paintings, drawings, songs, choreography, movies, videos, anything you create is the reflection of your true self at a given point of time.

I’ve always took drawing and more recently editing as a way to express myself, and to be able to notice such changes in my editing means a lot actually. As for today I achieved was I thought was impossible in 2013, I am now able to show a stronger side, take bold decisions, fight for my human rights, say “No!” to humiliation and abuse. I rent my own appartement, I have a stable job and a loving man on my side.
