Sweet Combat 甜蜜暴击 (2018) - Whump List

Synopsis: Fang Yu (on the right) was raised to become the sole successor of the Fang Conglomerate, yet she goes against her family's objections to pursue boxing and win the championship title at the young age of 18. Ming Tian (on the left) comes from a poor family. He decided to apply for a sports scholarship despite not having any background and having to take care of his little brother and sister. Fang Yu becomes his trainer, and new feelings start to develop between them.

Notes: I know, I know, it's not what I usually go to for whumperflies either. Sweet Combat is... well, sweet. It's bubbly and colorful and cute and endeering. BUT it also has some whump (esp. ep. 5, 8, 10, 11, 16, 27, 32, 33) . The fact that the whump is so serious in comparison to the overall atmosphere makes it all the more precious imo. And I have a soft spot for sport dramas. The girls are also pretty badass!
