so so many holy shiti can prob find at least one from each album. lemme try.cave: "come in my cave" i mean matt's not asking you to get him pregnant, the cave is more symbolic of a dark type of internal turmoil and he's inviting you to actually witness that (if you dare)new born: "stretch it like a birth squeeze" "growing like the newborn" both of these are similes referencing to someone's quickly growing evilness or whateverstockholm syndrome: okay i don't even need to quote anything bc this whole song is basically an allusion to actual stockholm syndrome...hoodoo: "tied to a railroad, no love to set us free" basically a metaphor for the way the narrator feels, absolutely trapped and doomed by an infatuation felt toward someone or somethingmk ultra: another allusion to project mkultra, which occurred during the 60s(?)explorers: "with rivers running wild" idk i mean it's not the biggest example of figurative language in t2l but i have explorers stuck in my head n haven't done alliteration yet sothe handler: okay literally. symbolism. just of a handler/puppeteer controlling an absolutely helpless and hopeless individualthe end
