“It’s not for no reason, there is a reason but Papa said it’s better left untold!” She huffed slightly, “Nah, I won’t shut up, the reason for you coming is for us to talk to each other~!”
... Sigh. There was no winning here, was there?
"Listen, if I don't know the reason, then there's not one."
She didn't like the idea of coming along without there being something in it for her. This was really pesky.. "Fine. I guess."
“You’re just never in the right place when I need you to be,” Gold pouted, poking Silver’s shoulder. “Losing my skills, that’s ridiculous! I couldn’t possibly be losing my skills, Silv~” She playfully flicked the other’s nose, the next moment jumping back and grinning. “I just got back from Hoenn, myself! Sweet place, little too warm though.”
She was a little disappointed that Silver wasn’t blowing up at her; that was her favorite part. “So anyhow, how’s your team doing? They good? Healthy? Happy?” For some reason Gold found herself always wondering the state of Silver’s Pokemon, perhaps more concerned than Silver herself. “Ahhh, they’re probably fine! How about you? Eating right~? You need more meat on your skinny bones anyway,” she chuckled.
Silver didn't like being touched, not one bit, but she wasn't going to give up just yet. No way -- Gold would have to deal with the rival ignoring the other girl's attempts at annoying her(or, well, Silver thought that was what they were, anyway) for the time being. Sucking in a small sigh, she shook her head. "I'm not supposed to be somewhere whenever you need me."
"That's not how it works. And, anyway, yes, they're fine," she answered curtly, not wanting to delve into it because that might give Gold a reason to talk way too much. Of course her Pokemon were fine -- Silver wasn't the person she used to be! Well, whatever. "As for myself, I'm fine, too. I'm okay the way I am, so, cut it out."
“Right? Right?” She blinked, “Huh? Boring? It’s a job! Jobs are fun! How can you think jobs are boring? Ah! I bet you’ve never had one before! That’s why you think it sounds boring! Well you should get one! They’re good~”
"No, I haven't, but I don't want one. Especially if I have to do stupid things like dress up as a boy for no reason." Silver sighed, pushing her hair behind her shoulder with a small flick of the wrist. "If I come, will you shut up?"
“…I didn’t said that, dunce. Are all my fangirls planning on make me lost my mind dressing and acting like me?”
And already the last straw was pulled. "Dunce? What the hell are you saying? Why would anyone 'fangirl' after someone like you?"
"For your fucking information, I'm not dressing or acting like you. It's more like the other way around and that would make more sense, actually. After all, what guy would grow hair that long without a reason?"
” ‘Cuz Papa said that men dress as women and women dress as men for it! Cross…. crosse… something! But I do like suits! They’re cool! But I like skirts too… and dresses and, and, oh, but I like ties too! And trousers~!” She grinned at her, “Wanna come over sometime? I’ll be serving drinks and stuff, so you can stay at the drink counter and chat~”
Silver almost choked upon hearing the explanation, wondering just how naive this girl had to be. "Crossdressing.. and that's interesting." Except, not really. Everything about her tone was flat and anything but interested, but seeing with how Ethan seemed to be, the rival sort of doubted she would catch on. "I don't know why I should. It sounds boring."

"It's unlikely that anything's a joke, that is, if you're talking to me. I'm a very serious person, you see."
“Naaah, your thinking of the wrong entertainment! Papa doesnt watch TV, he just chats with them and makes them laugh!” She blinked happily at her, “Ah! It’s Ethan! I could of sworn you would know me, from meeting so many Silvers and Redheads and Rivals and…” she trailed off, “So anyway! Hi~!”
"...So many Silvers," she mused, sighing and shaking head head upon hearing that. She didn't like the idea of there being more people like her, but it was better just to drop it, right? "And.. okay, if you say so, but I still don't understand why you have to dress up, then."
“Of course I’m not kidding~! Papa said all I need to do is serve drinks and smile while he and the others entertain the women and men!”
"...Entertain." She resisted the urge to cringe and instead tried to go ahead calmly. "I don't really think this is a job that you want, but whatever -- it's not my job to babysit you, er, whoever you are." Silver noted that she looked somewhat like Gold, but it.. wasn't close enough to mistake Ethan for her.
She twitched a bit, “I am not playing it off like its nothing, I am just being calm under the circumstances, Obviously your not calm about this either,” Well she had met other Silvers but not another Feminine one, either way she was calm about it because Really she didn’t care anymore about genders of people. Getting shocked about something as seeing a double or seeing some body bent the different gender was old news.
“Whatever gave you the oddest Idea I was doing that? If I was I probably would’ve walked away by now, seeing something like this I have gotten used to.”
Despite having said that previously, Silver now regretted it. Sighing shakily and looking up at the sky instead of this.. duplicate, she decided to wait until the other girl was done talking before she spoke again. The way the fellow redhead spoke annoyed the rival for reasons she couldn't explain. Maybe it was just too.. Hmm. She couldn't think of the word.
"Okay, that's nice. Whatever. Maybe it was the fact that you just greeted me instead of seeming as surprised as I was, but who knows. Anyway, what do you mean you got used to this?"
Well this certainly wasn’t expected, giving a hesitant nod, “Hello.”
She paused, weighing her options before she even considered speaking again. Silver didn't know what was going on because, certainly, she'd never experienced something like this before and it irritated her that she didn't know what was going on. Huffing, the rival finally continued.
"Don't play this off like it's nothing, alright?"

“Silver!” she repeated cheerfully as she giggled, mulling over how the name rolled off her tongue. Hadn’t she already met someone named Silver? No doubt she’d have to get used to this duplicate thing— and quick, too. Oh well, the only problem she could possibly think up was accidentally getting the wrong Silver for something. “That’s a cute name for you, hehe!”
“What brings you here in Kanto? At least I think that’s where we are right now~”
"Is it really." She wasn't interested in compliments, especially from those she didn't know, but Silver pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and decided to just drop it. If she did, then Blue probably would, too, right? And it wasn't like the rival was the type of girl to go, 'Oh, yours is cute, too!' so this conversation was pretty much not going anywhere anyway.
Kanto, Kanto, actually, yeah-- What had brought her to Kanto? Maybe it was just some sort of an escape.. But an escape from what? Gold? Good enough.
(Although, that wasn't to say Kanto could be considered much of an escape for her, anyway, but that's another story for another day.)
"I'm just traveling.. and what do you mean, you think that's where we are? That doesn't make sense."

Oh? Didn’t Blue just meet this person? No, probably not, this person looked a lot more feminine… But if it was a girl was she to assume that redheaded boy had a female version of himself? Ah, no no, a sister to him would be a better conclusion!
“Hello there!” Blue said, waving happily at the shorter one. “My name is Blue! It’s nice to meet you!”
...And who was this again? Silver tried to place a name to the face because she did look familiar, but no matter what she did, she just couldn't.. Oh! She introduced herself, so maybe Silver didn't know her after all, but she could have sworn.. Weird. "Okay."

“Silv~! Where ya been hiding?!” Gold grinned, knowing that Silver didn’t particularly like that nickname but using it nonetheless. “Been looking all over Johto for you!”
At Silver’s less-than-amazing greeting, Gold smirked. “Is that any way to talk to your rival, Silv? Soooo, how you been since I last saw you, buddy o’ mine?”
Silver grimaced upon hearing the nickname, but shook her head instead of yelling at Gold for it. It was unlike her, since normally the fiery redhead had such a temper, but she was trying a new strategy -- if she just ignored it, maybe it would go away.
"All over Johto, really," she said flatly, not even an ounce of interest in her voice. "That's interesting. Then how come you couldn't ever find me? It's not as if I were hiding. Maybe you're losing your skills." Brushing it off with a flick of her hair over her shoulder, Silver shrugged. "I think it is. We are rivals, after all, so I don't have to be friendly to you. Anyway, I've been just fine. It's.. kind of peaceful without someone breathing down your neck all of the time."

She seemed to hesitate for a moment, trying to figure out the right way to greet her self proclaimed rival. "Oh, it's you." Well, that wasn't exactly the witty comment that Silver had originally been going for, but it worked, didn't it?
