tickling someone who is usually so shy about their smiles... someone who always ducks their head and looks down at the floor when they grin, who lets out a tiny huff of breath instead of a real laugh, who is so quiet about their happiness.
they try so hard to keep that quietness up as they're tickled... turning their head away, eyes shut, nose scrunched, trying so hard not to giggle or lose control... but they're just too ticklish, they can't help it. they start giggling and squirming, twitching at every poke and wiggle of fingers against their body, breathless and blushing at being made to laugh aloud! poor shy little thing <3

(Tickle fic) Pluey's heard through the grapevine about a... silly incident that Jongler had with the contestants. Can you really blame them for wanting to test the new discovery?
Author's notes: Helloooooo everypony I am being enabled in the best way. Wags my dragon tail. I just think they're neat!

Pluey stares at Jongler from across the room. Their tail swishes as their bicolored eyes focus, unblinking, on the cowboy hat wearing Mike.
The Mike in question fixed his costume in the mirror, oblivious to the fixated gaze.
Pluey's ear twitched as they recalled all of the information recently given to them.
"The lightners got past the zapper guard somehow... they saw something that they shouldn't have." Lanino said.
"Right, right! I think they tried to fight him, but he said no. I thought that would have been the end of it, for sure!" Elnina replied, "Zappers are crazy strong and durable, I wonder how they got past?"
A Pippins butted in, "Oh, that softy? I overheard it all! They started pressing his buttons, and he folded! It couldn't have tickled THAT badly!"
There were perks that came with being a good listener. You learned a lot of things. But this particular piece of information, for Pluey, felt quite literally like catnip. It's no secret that Shadowguys (like them) were, simply put, rascals.
Giving any of them this information would have lead to tomfoolery at some point or another. Pluey almost vibrated when they realized that now was as good as ever for said tomfoolery. Can you really blame them for wanting to test out this beautiful new information?
The cat Mike strolls up to Jongler, letting out a short note to catch his attention. The tall Mike turned slightly.
"Heya, Plues. What's up?"
The cat Mike makes a short string of notes that makes Jongler sigh.
"I don't, uh, wanna talk about it. Was real kinda embarrassing. Boss gave me an earful already..."
Pluey grabs him by the shoulders, turning him to face them with a wide grin and another string of inquisitive-sounding notes. Jongler jolts at the question.
"Wh-Wha-!? No! Nah, dat's not what happened, ya see? Ya must'a heard wrong, y-yeah! I'm not- they didn't- I didn't get-" He stammered with a blush.
Pluey's tail swished in excitement. Oh, this was too cute. He couldn't even say it! They couldn't help but let out a high-pitched, swooning note that made Jongler's stomach flutter.
"Plues, c'mon, can ya drop it already?" The tall Mike was blushing furiously, pulling his hat in front of his face. "I-It ain't cute!"
Ooh? Oooooh? Pluey begged to differ! This entire display was, in fact, cute! Adorable, even! They already knew what the answer was to their question, but poor Jongler just wasn't gonna admit it, was he? Maybe they'd just have to prove it, no? They had JUST the thing for this little conundrum!
While Jongler's hands kept his hat over his face, Pluey's paws landed on his unguarded sides, giving them a firm squeeze that rewarded them a sharp squeal that almost hurt their ears.
Jackpot! The cowboy hat ended up discarded on the floor as Jongler's hands grabbed at their paws. Pluey grinned widely at the cute little blush on his face that accompanied the high-pitched giggling that he gave as his sides were squeezed again.
"Pluhuhuhuhues- cuhuhut it out-!" The Zapper tried to grab at their paws, only for them to swap to poking at his hips.
Ooh, new game found! Pluey's tail swished in excitement, a huge grin on their face as they kept prodding and squeezing at the Zapper. It was cute to see how he would try to roll away from their paws, squirming around with a nice laugh. He seemed to be devastatingly ticklish, too. Pluey was surprised that he hadn't fallen over yet! That could change anytime now.
Squeezing his sides gave out a nice squeal that warmed the cat mike's heart.
Prodding his hips made his body jolt upwards, while scratching at his stomach made him double back over in laughter. Sooooo cute!
Hmm... how to make the tall mike fall over, Pluey mused with a quiet sustained humming note. They could reach more if he was closer to their level!
...Oh! Idea!
Pluey latched their paws to his upper sides, while their head was shoved under his jacket. Jongler gives out a horrified screech, hands frantically trying to push their head back out. "Pl-Pluhuhues, nohohoho-!"
Pluey unleashes a raspberry against his stomach, paws clawing at his lower ribs, and absolutely delights in the explosive shriek it rewards them. "PLUHUHUHUHUEHEHEHES-!"
A resounding thud is heard as the zapper hits the floor, air getting knocked out of his lungs in a new wave of laughter as the cat mike simply chooses not to exit from under his jacket. Why would they? They've just realized they have a wonderful advantageous position!
As they crawl their paws up his sides and to his ribs (Jongler makes cute yelps when the spaces between his ribs are scratched), they can't help but notice his buttons.
They didn't know they could glow! That's cool! But they already know about his buttons being ticklish (along with everything else, so cute!), so they're gonna save those for later. The most important part of the journey is the discovery!
They can feel Jongler's hands weakly trying to push them back out of his clothes via pushing their head down, but all it does is push their head right into one of his lower buttons, earning a loud yelp.
"YOUHUHUHOUR WHISKEHEHERS-"
Oh, wonderful! He volunteered a new spot! Pluey was itching to try those buttons out, but first, they had to get his arms out of the way. His arms crossed over his chest to try and defend his buttons. Unfair! Pluey let out a short, sharp note, worming their paws under his arms.
Bingo! Jongler recoiled with a yelp, breaking out into more cute giggles. Can you tell how much fun Pluey is having with this? They were purring up a storm, tail thrashing in excitement as those buttons finally became avaliable.
As they kept wiggling their paws under his arms, they studied those buttons quietly. Row of three, row of two, and then one lone button at the bottom center. All of them had their own function, they knew this much. As for which did what, however...?
They poked at one of the top buttons, hearing Jongler's voice quieting down. Ah, that's the volume down button! The one on the opposite side must be-
"PLUHUHUHES NAHAHAHAT DERE-"
Yep, volume up! They gave a happy-sounding note, pressing the one at the very bottom. The studio lights turned off. They press that one again, despite his attempts to thrash them off.
They press at another random button, feeling Jongler buck hard, chest still bouncing with suddenly-silent laughter. Oh, mute button! Better un-mute him before-
The cat is tugged out of Jongler's jacket all of the sudden, a small trill of surprise leaving their throat as they slid across the floor.
"What are you guys doing!? Mike was supposed to be out there five minutes ago!" Battat yelled, "Quit screwing around, you'll blow our cover!"
Pluey let out a sad-sounding note, shrugging their shoulders.
"You DIDN'T have to test ANYTHING!" The pippin snapped, "He can't go out there like this! You muted him!"
Battat jabbed a claw into Jongler's mute button, producing a loud squeal. Try as he might, he couldn't hide that subtle blush. You agree, he's cute! "J-Just- get it together, alright? We can't mess this up!"
Jongler shakily stood up, fixing his costume and putting his hat back on. His blush wouldn't leave, soooo cute~
Hello again! Yeah, my activity on here is pretty spontaneous still but i've been sitting on these thoughts for a WHILE and I NEED to get em out of my system! Hope you like em! :3
Battat
He's generally a lee in most circumstances, and his only exceptions are Pluey and Jon
No matter what side of the equation he's on, he is DRAMATIC!
Yelling and screaming, super over-the-top threats, flailing, you name it
It's slightly more so when he's a lee, but only slightly
As a lee, he's very...shrieky. He is SCREAMING and screeching whenever his ler hits a particularly bad spot, yelling at the slightest movement if he's especially jumpy
He's most ticklish on his neck, which can be a little hard to access but is VERY worth it <333
Very twitchy when he's in a mood, usually tapping his foot, glancing around very quickly, or even staring off into space as he gets lost in his own thoughts/fantasies
To which he will yelp with you snap him out of them, saying something like "I"MBEINGNORMAL!!" even if you didn't ask
Battat loves playing with his friends, but most of his fantasies are occupied by Tenna, because you KNOW he's not gonna ASK him, are you crazy??
LOTS of scenarios where Tenna finds out his secret and "punishes" him for it
And somehow Pluey just Knows that's what he's thinking about (he's actually incredibly unsubtle) and teases him over it A LOT
One of Pluey's most common threats to Battat is that he's gonna tattle to Tenna about how badly he wants to be tickled by him and every time without fail Battat freaks OUT!!! DO NOT DO THAT ARE YOU C RA ZY
It either flusters him incredibly while being a lee or fuels his "rage" as a ler
Speaking of, Battat as a ler! It's rare and basically exclusive to his other two Mikes, but it's certainly a sight to behold!
He is MEAN and he is RUTHLESS
Pluey handles it well, Jongler just about Dies lfjaskdfjkd
He's got very quick fingers and sharp clawed-hands, both of which combined with his unwillingness to forgive and forget make for a VERY intense time
He tends to dart around and not stay at one spot for too long, noting which ones get the best reactions and going back to those periodically, before settling on the very BEST spot
He's not very...smooth or tactical with his teasing
He sounds more frantic than anything tacking on "huh?? huh???" if you don't answer right away, or throwing super over the top threats as if they mean anything (IE "I'm gonna tickle you to DEATH!! How about that??")
If he can calm down for One Damn Second, he can actually talk fairly casually, usually over you and acting as if you're not doing anything
"And then later we- Pluey, really, this is important, shut up!! What's so funny, anyway?"
Will laugh and scream his voice hoarse, and come to regret it later when Tenna starts making demands shortly after and he struggles to put on his Mike voice
Pluey
The only one of the trio that I think is actually, truly a switch
MISCHIEVOUS LITTLE CREATURE!!! If a tickle fight has broken out between them, 99.9% of the time, Pluey started it
Sometimes it's purely out of mischief, sometimes it's simply due to wanting to help, and sometimes it's because he intends to lose
Very versatile as both a lee and a ler, which is good due to Battat and Jongler's differences
Can bend to fit pretty much any situation, but bratty lee and suave, mischievous ler are his usual defaults
Most ticklish on his belly and his feet bc. cat :3c
Will be the most annoying little shit when he's in a mood- tripping people, throwing jabs and insults, refusing to let them work
Or, contrary to popular belief, he actually can just. ask laskdfjkalsd he just needs an established friendship first where he feels comfortable doing so
He only really does that with Jongler, however. Why would he ever ask Battat when fucking with him is SO much more fun?
The saxophone noises he makes I think translate great to laughter, especially the squeaky, squealy noises they can make >:333
His squeals can rival those of Battat in terms of volume, at times, especially when his most ticklish spots are being targeted or are about to be targeted
Though it can be a bit difficult to break his facade, Pluey CAN be flustered, and is usually the only time he stops talking/acting out
Battat finds GREAT pride in "shutting Pluey up" so to speak alskdfjkd
And as a ler, HOO BOY you better get ready!!
Pluey is VERYYYY teasey and mean
I'm one of those that HC's Pluey as a cat shadowguy, and I specifically think he's got a biiiiig, super fluffy tail :333 for very unrelated reasons ofc :3333/lying
That tail of his comes in SUPER handy when tickling Battat, he loves using it on his neck <333
He's got claws of his own, which he loves to use to trace over spots while teasingly cooing at his victims
The only one of the three that can "say" the word tickle (even if we the audience can't hear it lakdsjfdk)
And he uses this for evil so very often <3333 He LOVES to try and make the other two say it during sessions
Battat can do it, if pushed far enough, but poor Jongler just can't manage laskdjfkaef
Even after all of that, Pluey likes to be a bit of a menace and lay on top of his friends afterwards, turning into the best loaf he can manage and staying there

Much like Battat, I think they're usually mainly a lee, but makes an exception for their best friends :3
@nulldragonhere suggested that Jongler is the canonically ticklish zapper you see in one of the green rooms and when I tell you that was accepted into my headcanon SO FAST, shout out to them!!

Neither Jongler nor Battat can say the word, but at least Battat can say it under particular circumstances or use something akin to "t-word". Jongler cannot
It's just nebulously "da ting" or "dat" or "y'know" That's that absolute best you're gonna get!!
Very bubbly, deep laugh that pitches up once you hit the particularly sensitive spots
Those sensitive spots being their buttons, of course! But their sides are also pretty sensitive too
Stammers and stutters the most out of the trio, hardly able to speak if you fluster them enough, babbling nonsense between giggling
Despite all of his very shy ways as a lee, they can actually have just a little bit of gusto as a ler, just enough to keep their lee in place
They don't really understand the coy nature of a lot of Battat and Pluey's fighting, and would much prefer they just be open and honest
AKA if you want tickles from Jon, you're gonna use your words and you're gonna use them nicely :))))
Pluey doesn't really struggle with this but Battat can't STAND IT
That's okay, though, Jon is very patient, they can wait until Battat finally manages to ask for what he wants :3 they may even coach them through it, if need be, offering encouragement and such <333
And that encouragement and doting stays through the whole session, alongside very gentle touches that only intensify upon request
They tend to laugh alongside their lee, always so happy to see just how happy they are
If they're not the lee in a situation where two of the group team up against one, they're usually the one holding the lee's arms out of the way for the other, only chiming in and contributing where need be
Jongler is the one who absolutely does aftercare the best!! Offers just about everything you could possibly need/want, loves cuddles and any sort of affection that'll help his friends calm down
Usually the first to fall asleep after a session as well

I have a couple ideas as to how they all found out they were all ticklish, but my current favorite is the idea that Pluey heard through the grapevine about Jongler's little incident with the Fun Gang and just HAD to confirm it for himself >:333
And at some point in the middle of it, Battat got caught up in it and their first tickle fight ensues!
Battat and Pluey get VERY into the play-fight aspect of the game- silly insults, pushing, tricking each other into saying or doing things, and even throwing things, in Pluey's case >:3
It's a trick that only works on Battat because he has an extremely short temper, but if he can't get him to snap through just his words, he usually ends up throwing his hat in his face, or, if it's a long distance between them, Pluey will pry off his shoe and toss it at him. Works every time B)
Tenna has found out that "Mike" is ticklish at some point, and now they all have to "suffer" for it
Whenever it's made obvious to them that "Mike" is in for it, they usually all scramble for cover, trying to push the other into the limelight to save themselves
Despite the amount of effort Battat puts into this, he's always SEETHINGLY jealous if Pluey or Jongler get caught instead
NONE of them can handle much anticipation, all reacting in their own ways to it- Battat growls, complains and demands, Pluey usually tries to bait his ler into just starting already and Jongler just lays there and giggles, twitching and yelping
One thing i've noticed in a lot of tickle art involving lee!Tenna, is that he's often pleading to Mike for help of some kind, and I LOVE that because I often picture these three staring in horror and looking at each other in panic bc laskdjflksdjk WHAT DOES HE WANT TH E M TO DO ABOUT IT ALSKDFJKD
And ofc, failure to save Tenna will result in "Mike" paying for it :3
