"Licked my face?!" Marise echoed in a slight bit of horror. What had she gotten herself into with her roommate? "Pulled my hair…?" Her hand absentmindedly traveled up to hair, touching it to make sure it all was still in tact.

Well she had to admit, it was….pleasantable if that was even a word. And how Roxie was going on, she could only guess that the girl could have made this a lot worse if she wasn’t lucky. “….fair enough I guess? Hey! Don’t go poking my butt!”

Of course, now she was seriously thinking about it. "Hmm... you don't have the world's most poke-able butt... but it's not the world's flattest butt, either... I'd give you a 5.5 out of 10 in terms of butt poke-ability." Roxie nodded seriously, as if she were thinking about this scientifically. "If you were a 6, maybe it would tempt me, but alas."

"N-no one said anything about making out Roxie!" she yelped but of course that wasn’t really doing much as she was suddenly pulled and had a kiss planted on her lips. Welp that went her first kiss. With her roommate no less.

"I guess…but what the heck is that supposed to mean if you didn’t like me?"

Roxie was completely unaffected by the whole ordeal. She had kissed all sorts of people before. At concerts, during shows, during parties, as jokes, whatever. It barely even had meaning for her anymore.

"Whoops, too late," she said, grinning. "Nah, I just meant that if you were more of a bore, I wouldn't have made that pleasant. Like, maybe I would have licked your face, or pulled your hair, or poked you in the butt, or something."

"I most certainly am not a masochist!" He snapped back. Though that was probably a little bit of a lie since Cheren hardly saw any of his masochistic elements. And that silly smile on her face wasn’t making him feel any better about this mishap.

Letting out an exasperated sigh, Cheren barely had any time to prepare himself for the lick he received from Roxie and he ended up cringing from the impact and jumped back. “ROXIE!” he shouted as he started wiping at his mouth and spitting. Arceus that was foul! He was covered in more germs than he could even imagine.

"No! If anything I’m completely disgusted!" He rubbed at his mouth again. "Do you have any idea how chil — " He stopped in the middle of that sentence. There was no reason to finish it. He was sure she had a pretty good idea of just how childish it was.

"If anything, you should feel lucky! You might become infected with my spit and become cool. I'm the one who was making the sacrifice here! If I become a nerd, I have no idea what I'd do... man, that'd suck."

She smirked, glad to have disgusted him so thoroughly. "Sure you're not a masochist? You know, denial isn't just a river in... however that goes."

Cheren is not amused at all Roxie. Not even slightly. “I’m against this whole ordeal. In case you’ve forgotten, I have a girlfriend than I am happily with.” Actually, Cher I don’t think you told many people you two got back together soooo…”So I’d never marry you under any circumstances since you already make my life a living hell.”

Thank Arceus she said cheek or otherwise he might have went insane. He let out an annoyed sigh before pinching the bridge of his nose. “Fine. Fine fine fine. Get this stupid tradition over with so I can go on with the rest of my holidays…without you.” He needed to add the heavy emphasis because Arceus forbid this all because he was damn well not being married.

"But why be happy with your girlfriend if you can be miserable with me? Aren't you a masochist? I'm a sadist so it'd be perfect." She can't keep the huge grin off her face. Messing with this nerd is just too much fun.

"Bleep bloop." Before Cheren can stop her, Roxie leans in towards his cheek -- and moves at the last minute, instead licking him on the mouth. "Roxie used Lick! It's... super effective! Are you paralyzed, huh? Huh?" Now she'd have to scrub her mouth for ages to get the nerd germs off. But it was worth it.

"CUT IT OUT!" Cheren shouted back already feeling the unwanted attention on him that was definitely not needed. He didn’t need some random rumors flying around. "You’re making it sound like a marriage which is not the case!" He let out a exasperated sigh before face palming. "I’m guessing you’re not going to be like some people and just not follow this stupid tradition." Please Roxie, why couldn’t you find this utterly disgusting like most things?! "So….just…get it over with. A kiss on the cheek should suffice, right?"

If anything, Roxie would probably use anything she learned as blackmail and he wasn’t going to have any of that. "And how I am in bed is none of your business." "Try as you will to put me out of a job, but I’ll still have my gym leader position to drop back on if you ever find some way into the science career." Which he highly doubted. "…how considerate of you…." He let out a sigh. "You can be nice when you actually want to."

Really why did he even say anything? Most things were basically a joke when it came to Roxie so this was going to be an even bigger one for her. Cheren only rolled his eyes, before snatching the pen out of her hands irritably. “It’s not funny, nor is that important. But if you must know, like I’ve already stated, things happen when I’m drunk which is why I deliberately stay away from drinking as much as I can.” 

Sighing, he placed the pen back on the table. “I’m a blackout drunk so honestly I can’t tell you anything because I have zero memory of it. There’s your research.”
