“It’s a black eye,” Josh stated rather obviously, holding the ice wrapped in a tea towel up against the bruised area and wincing not long after.
“Won’t kill me.”
“Who got a lucky shot?”

“It’s a black eye,” Josh stated rather obviously, holding the ice wrapped in a tea towel up against the bruised area and wincing not long after.
“Won’t kill me.”
“Who got a lucky shot?”
little-miss-powell:
"Then stop drinking it."
“I said it burns, I didn’t say it wasn’t good.”
asinnerclair:
"And something is finally too much for Molly Astor! I never realized this day would come." With a chuckle, Hayden downed his next shot, humming with pleasure.
“That day has not come and it never will come.” She turned the empty shot glass upside down, summoning the bartender over with a flick of her wrist and ordering two more shots. “Keep dreaming.”
time frame: when molly was a recruit location: the cinema, the docks. summary: Molly doesn’t know what time it is or how long it has been since she even fell asleep, only that she has been disturbed from her sleep, awakened by a hand covering her mouth.
Molly doesn’t know what time it is or how long it has been since she even fell asleep, only that she has been disturbed from her sleep, awakened by a hand covering her mouth. From a quick, but startled glance around her surroundings she realises she is still in the lobby of The Cinema. That serves as some kind of small, fleeting relief for Molly until she remembers their is a hand still covering her mouth and the room is too dark for her to recognise any facial features. She feels the tell tale signs of panic starting to rise in her chest; the sweaty palms and the pounding of her heart against the inside of her chest.
She’s scared and she hates herself for it.
"Oh god, that burns. That's like gasoline." She grimaced, slamming the empty shot glass upside down on the bar.
"That’s worrying."
"You aren't exactly a man of many words."
"Gather ‘round, gather ‘round, time for updates! Let’s go!"
"Nothing to report."
"But Angel has a family. He’d run to them first, let’s be honest here."
"His family aren't going around shouting for serial killers."
"No. I’m not interested in a black eye." Ace responded, completely deadpanned. He didn’t even glance over in the direction of the pissed off bloke who’d just learned the hard way to never challenge the card shark in double or nothing. "But thank you for asking. It’s very considerate of you."
"Making new friends?"
"You have something in your hair… Do you mind if I—?" Effie gestured as if she was picking something out of her own.
"Yes, I do mind. I'm not a bloody chimp, I don't need you to pick things out of my hair. I can get it myself."
Josh arched an eyebrow at her, Molly did always tend to say what could be said in two words in fifteen or twenty. Strange to him. He wasn’t like that.
"Is it really that concerning?"
"I pretty much thought you were mute when I was a recruit."
"I’m the nerd who never goes outside anyway, I was never going to survive."
"Your boyfriend is the Terminator, your chances of survival might not be as slim as you think."
"Uh-oh. This can't be good. Your eyebrows are furrowed, your hands are on your hips. You look like you're trying to string together a sentence of more than three words. This is never good." She smiled at him teasingly, pulling the earphones out of her ears and wrapping them around her ipod.
"Hello? Is someone there?" Vaeda hadn’t worked out all the nooks and crannies of their new place yet, which was making it impossible for her to hook up security cameras on the outside. "I have a taser so don’t try any funny business."
"Haven't you watched enough horror films to know that the girl who always calls out to the serial killer is always the first to die?"
"You just sounded eerily like a mother…"
"Fuck you." Molly said mockingly, folding her arms across her chest.
"What can I say? Playing dead doesn’t seem to suit these guys."
"Really? They do a stand up job of it when ever it comes to cleaning."
"Look around, they’re all here."
"All I see is Sulky."
