ngl one of my fav things erik does is manipulates charles chair whenever he needs to guide charles somewhere safe or just guiding him to places, and when he needs him closer (gay asf), but he also can be bitch with it and im like 'yo bro... u cant be doin shit like that. its never that serious😭'

but i mostly love those small moments where he just casually carries charles in his arms when he doesnt have his chair cuz its damage or he lost it. like deadass thats so cute that they just agree to it and charles feels safe enough to be carried by his enemy/bestie

it kills me when writers skip over the down to earth every day harrowing angst that rounds out the characters so much more. like scott summers who is short tempered and ill-humoured because he’s had a pounding headache since the plane crash. scott summers who got better and better at hiding his fear of planes but has to steel shaken hands every time he sits at the pilot seat of the blackbird. scott summers who quietly asks jean/emma to describe what colour of clothing they’re in so he can imagine what it looks like after seeing a world in red for so long. like there’s so many other characters and thoughts but scott is so easy to put in a bottle and shake
