*helps a bug outside so people don't kill it*
*flash forward and I'm convicted of a crime I didn't commit*
*no lawyer touches the case for me*
*everyone hears a buzz and turns around*
*the bug is wearing a tiny suit with a tiny suitcase and becomes my defense attorney*

Who had late Victorian Scooby Doo on their 2024 bingo card? Hmm?
The idea came to me when I was thinking about Sherlock Holmes and then remembered the iconic mystery solving gang hehe
its been SO LONG since i last finished one of these wow
THIS was a fun experience fjdksdjks .... it was the beginning of the "eejit runs around Faron noting where the ruins actually are" saga and honestly that was pretty fun, to be continued in the Faron tower region because BOY that one's giving me a headache :L
in addition !! there is also another version now because i hate myself i had fun messing with a sort of pseudo-hylian font inspired by the wonderful Studson Studios sign in his junk miniature build of a BotW stable !! guys content is so impressive and funny to boot šš
i have a feeling that the ghostly hint of Farosh will be absent from the eventual composite map but i felt bad not adding them in here as tribute for the amount of time i spent cheesing the poor fucker for parts here <.<
more content like this, LoZ or otherwise, at friththetraveller š
When you're sick, but at least you can make cool maps for your campaign between naps
The Enlightened Kingdom of Isilar on the continent of Kudura [full res]
This is the world of my homebrew campaign. I have no idea whether any of the geographical features like mountain ranges or lakes follow any kind of logic, but hey, it was my first proper go at a fantasy map.
Our campaign is a mix of English and German and the names here reflect that (+ some homebrew elvish, dwarvish and other in-game languages). You might also find some familiar locations, though the places themselves donāt look like their CR counterparts.
When we started the campaign almost three years ago I was still very insecure about my worldbuilding capabilities. I had no idea how to create a story that would make sense long-term and that would keep my players engaged week after week. Iām not all the way there yet, but creating this map was an exercise in figuring out my own world, which then made it much easier to invite my players in and allow them to explore the world āon their ownā.
I have finally completed my updated map for my homebrew DnD campaign! Weāve been playing in this world for over a year and Iām excited to see where the party will end up next! šŗļøāļø The party are currently in the swamp city of Idlebor and are soon planning an expedition to Wilds Edge and beyond the boundary of the Ivorian empire!
Some "post-it" style watercolor maps (drawn square by square)
I don't think I have ever shown my hand drawn map of Tamriel,, It took me so long and the paper near the Summerseat Isles burned a little but I still love it!
ink and watercolor on paper (75x55cm)
the map of middle earth on my sketchbook cover ā finished! I think next time I'll go larger scale because this was a squeeze 𤧠still can't believe how much I managed to fit on there, and in hobbit lettering no less lmao š
Beginning of 2020 I ran a small West Marches type campaign about exploring a huge region covered by the Murk, a blight encroaching on the land and making it inhospitable. It lasted a couple months until April when I bought Death Stranding and a long-lasting obsession began, oops. 2020-03-01
I had fun with the overworld though. They were given a hand drawn map and after exploring, Iād add in the actual terrain. which was yes VERY TEDIOUS.
Highlights of the campaign were robbing shrek of his onions, nearly TPKing to a bunch of raccoons, and beating up a corrupted giant murk-elk on the rematch.
