Okay so I was replaying Solasta's main campaign with a new party made up of the new DLC classes (and a dragonborn barbarian cuz why not) and I got to the Manacalon library part and found this dragonborn statue again.

Now that Super Mario 3D All-Stars is out and some people are experiencing Super Mario Galaxy for the first time, can we please please PLEASE start giving Rosalina the actual respect she deserves as a character?? Like. She's got this super sad, tragic backstory and yet she gets written off as just some floaty Mario space princess who makes an appearance in Smash and other Mario games now.

I'm honestly a bit disappointed with her evolution because people just don't know where she came from and Nintendo's used her poorly since the original Galaxy game. Galaxy 2 didn't even really add to her story at all. Now she's in Super Mario Party and Mariokart 8 (she even has a baby self in that game, which really shouldn't exist) and. It just bugs me so much that they took all of the canon character out of her because she's ~pretty~.

Just. As someone who grew up with Super Mario Galaxy, it just really saddens me that the emotional oomph of her story has been largely forgotten. (I know, I know, Nintendo's Mario franchise doesn't get a ton of that to begin with, but that's what made Rosalina special in my opinion.)

Can we, like, collectively bring back the truth of this character? Please? #RespectRosalina2020

If anyone wants to visit Posmea, the dream address is DA-8214-7694-4186! It's nothing special or extravagant compared to most 5-star islands, but it's home to me. Originally I tried to keep a sort of Wild World feel to it by spacing out the houses and shops (so I haven't even moved any buildings since day one, not even my house), but as time went on I integrated a little more natural development into it that reminds me of my IRL hometown (an ice cream parlor/coffee stand, a music-playing plaza, a little market area, a playground with a soccer field, a diving platform, some little gardens).

I left a ladder and vaulting pole by the plaza before updating it, so hopefully it'll work and you can maneuver around the island however you'd like. If you enjoy it, let me know!

I have my girl Margie back in my arms!

Ever since Wild World, she's been one of my favorites. I never had her in City Folk or New Leaf, so when I got the chance to move someone out of my island in New Horizons, I immediately took the opportunity to look for her. I got a nice deal for her on Nookazon and it was well worth it to have her back!

I designed this room and took these pictures because she always wanted to be a clothing designer in the AC anime. You better believe K.K. Bossa is playing on that record player! (Bonus: the terrarium on the bedside table is there because it was Margie who sent me the recipe for it in a bottle once!)

I love this feeling. It feels like an old friend has come home again, and I look forward to sharing my island with her :')
