The short story - we have some beautiful meticulously machined and tumbled solid aluminum and brass pens by @schon_dsgn available on our site NOW! The long story - like every project we’ve worked on to date, this connection has occurred naturally. As you may know, the pen pocket has been a signature detail on our jeans since we launched our inaugural collection back in 2009. Jump forward to 2018, Austin, Texas and Ian the owner and the artisian behind Schon Dsgn found himself in @stagprovisions where they introduced him to RGT! Ian gets a pair of 15oz SKs and shares an image of his pen in the pen pocket and tags us. I see it, and look into what he’s doing. I was immediately drawn to his design aesthetic and ordered a pen. Shortly after DMs back and forth, Ian and I connect directly and start talking about product development. He’s stoked with his SKs and I am stoked with my pen. I find that when other makers are excited and/or passionate about something they like to share that discovery with their community and that is what we are doing here!
