Somebody asked my opinion on the word "nigger" on Facebook

The word nigga has been ripped from history it has changed meaning over the decades. It derived from the name Negus also known as King Negus a former king of Ethiopia when Africa was beautifully rich and hadn't been decimated by white people and Arabs (who had black slaves long before white people did and before they found islam) so for black people to take back a word which was ours originally shouldn't be such a difficult concept. What needs to be done is to rise above the agenda pushed by the media and the inherent social connotations surrounding it. The fact that it's used so freely now is due to ignorance but not ignorance of what it meant when white people used it because Western history is not world history. Words change meaning over time which is why it's used now the way it is as a sense of empowerment but the younger generations don't see that they merely see it in its current social context to refer to a friend or otherwise. The word shouldn't be vilified but it should be educated on. If black people are niggers then so are the moors who taught Europeans how to build roads, straight buildings and educated on general hygiene when 200 years ago the British were throwing their shit and piss out the window onto the street. To be a "nigger" doesn't mean you are a negative. There's many different contexts and situations where the word holds different meanings and I'm not sure where I stand on it. I don't generally use it but used in the right way it's a good thing

Thoughts on Kanye and his comments about suit and tie

You know what I reckon Kanye West had his little outburst about? I think him and Jay Z don’t get on as well since Kanye got with Kim Kardashian. It’s believed that Beyonce doesn’t like Kim K and so now he’s jealous of the fact that Jay Z and JT are getting on so well. That whole screaming thing did appear to be born out of frustration and he said he ain’t fucking with suit and tie yet in his good music cypher for BET he would only do it if everyone was wearing a suit including the DJ.
