I can tell I’m hungry, but I don’t want to eat.

It has nothing to do with my weight, it feels like a form of executive dysfunction—no food sounds good or appetizing, and the idea of having to chew sounds tedious.

Short-term, have some liquids. Something with sugar salt and Nutrients in it is best. A meal-replacement shake or a soup would be ideal but even tea or juice or soda is better than nothing. If this is going on for days at a time you might wanna stock up on the shakes and soups. And anything that you can make yourself eat is good, even if it's weird or "unhealthy" or whatever. If mashing up your food or putting chocolate sauce on it will make it better then do it, even if it's not a meal that would normally have those things done to it. Alternately, if you have a Housemate, part of the problem (the choosing, making) may be eliminated or alleviated by asking for help. It can be easier to eat while sitting at a family dinner or while watching a movie than doing it by itself.
