The ship lurched forward slightly as the larger ship started to pull it into its cavity. Ar’Layna smoothed out the skirt of her dress. Sighing as she looked out the window at the sleek chrome that seemed to cover everything. Something about the first orders base and even their uniforms felt sterile and unfeeling. It probably reflected on the organization as a whole.  

She stood as the ship landed walking to the door. Waiting anxiously for it to open as her posse of guards lined with her. The whole situation had her on edge. As it should. She was literally walking into the mouth of the lion. Her face remaining steeled as the door opened to a first order greeting party. Her heels clanking along the metallic ramp as she walked to the man at the front of the group. “General Hux I presume.” she gave him a small bow of her head as she offered a dainty hand to him. “I am Princess Ar’Layna Valsalor, I’m acting instead of my father who could not make the journey here from Utharia.”`

Jesse sidled under the blanket as quickly as was physically possible, pulling the covers back snugly around them to keep in some warmth, then chuckled lightly. She hadn’t been lying- it was definitely a tough fit- and for a moment he laid indecisive, unsure of where to put his arms or how to lay so that they’d both be most comfortable.

“Well, ya weren’t kiddin’ ‘bout the size, but no matter, I’m sure we can make the most of this situation.”

She couldn’t help but let out a suppressed laugh as he squished in. If it weren’t for the wall on her other side the woman probably would have fallen out of the bed. “I told you so. Granted the bed looks larger than it really is.” she chuckled out looking over at him with an amused expression. She noted how unnaturally close his face was when she did so. After a moment of laying in slight discomfort she sat up a little.

“We need to shuffle around if we’re ‘going to make the most of this situation.’” she said over her shoulder at him before directing him to shuffle a bit. Her one hand moving to move his arm under her neck before moving to slightly entwine their legs. Her now slightly red face found itself pressed into the crook of his neck. His facial hair slightly tickling her skin. “If this is too uncomfortable I can flip around.”

Genji let her continue, not seeing any point in protesting. His expression reflected his relief at her well-being, but his eyes wandered to the graze. Small, but an injury all the same. Before he could voice his worry, however, she spoke again.

“Ah… more often than I would care to say,” he admitted with a sigh. “But they haven’t succeeded yet, at least. Apparently only idiots are sent on their ridiculous stealth missions,” he quipped with a smirk, trying to lighten the post-attack mood.

As he confirmed her worries she let her face fall into an expression of concern. Even though he was trying to make light of his situation it was still concerning for her. That at any moment the cyborgs life could be in danger. Her eyes scanned the mess they made as she realized they probably should clear out of the area sooner rather than later—or risk another poorly planned out ambush.

“If you’re uninjured we should probably gather ourselves.” she mused before reaching to give her arm a quick look over. She would like to clean it up sooner rather than later to avoid infection. Right now getting to somewhere more safe was her priority. “You know the area better than I do. Where to?” she asked with a tilt of her head.
