Finishing up the Mudrock backpack now. I tried my hand at doing a burnt effect on the cannons and thrusters.

RE/100 Efreet Versteckt

A custom build I put together using the re100 Efreet custom and Schneid in addition to some builders parts. It was weathered for jungle use and wanted to give it a “it’s been out here for a minute” look. The idea central to the build was a Federation pilot who defected and desecrated his old insignia and now assists the locals against Federation patrols. Without a doubt it’s one of my favorite builds I’ve ever worked on and it really got my creativity goin again. Below is a small description of suit, appreciate everyone’s positive vibes on this build. Enjoy🤙

“Designated as model MS-08/TX-V, it’s role like many other in the Efreet line focuses on mid to close range combat. The Versteckt however differs from its siblings in that it is designed specifically with sabotage and guerrilla warfare in mind. It’s outfitted with several jamming radars, snares and cables and a retractable blade in the forearm guard capable of generating 10k volts of electricity.”

Had a blast at ODO yesterday! Got to meet up with so many talented and chill folks AND debut my latest build, the RE/100 Efreet Versteckt. Shout outs to everyone who came by to check it out, really excited to start on the next one after a short recharge 🤙

Little heavy on the edges but I’m pretty happy with how this heat saber turned out. No airbrush, just a lot of stippling, dry brushing and proper color layering.

One of the best jobs I’ve had is doggy daycare.

Really rewarding, get to be around and help dogs and so many pups to photograph 🤙

I have found weathering on extra parts to be one of the best ways to try out new techniques in addition to working on current ones. Similar to warm up sketches, it’s fun to just start letting whatever comes to mind flow onto your canvas.

This piece was primed in citadel Mechanical Gray then dry brushed with rufang steel. After that I dry brushed my main color, a dark green and then with a lighter green, dry brushed on top of that.

HG 1/144 Genoace O-Custom // HG 1/144 Gafran

Big fan of the Genoace O-Custom suit from Gundam AGE and I’ve always enjoyed how alien the enemy mobile suit designs are. I wanted to show an intense battle from this series since I feel as a whole it gets a reputation for being more kid friendly. Both builds were pretty good, especially a fan of the O-Custom build and some of the poses you can get off for an older kit.
