Yes, it's dead. I want nothing to do with the tumblr RPC anymore.
🌴 i hate that omission of info makes someone suspicious now. no, me saying i hate people bullying others based their skin color while refusing to say my own skin color doesn’t mean i’m white. saying i hate how people are bullied for rping incest doesn’t mean i’m incestuous. people are so stupid with this. i hate seeing animals abused too but i don’t even own a pet, does that make that opinion bad too?this line of logic is just forceful outing of minorities when they might want to keep it a secret. and someone being a certain demographic doesn’t mean their thoughts are automatically trash anyways.
🌴 Writing scenarios where there is an adult/minor ship is not CP, god dammit. I'm sick of banning people for slandering other players and communities by saying "they allow CP" when it's just someone rping Starker or something. It's not exploitation. It's not CP. Real kids are not affected. Give me one fucking day where I don't have to deal with this idiocy. Signed, someone who doesn't even rp any of these things.
🌴 I haven't forgotten about our thread. I haven't had the motivation to write that particular muse recently, and no amount of crying about how you don't get replies back will convince me to respond any sooner. I feel less obligated to interact with you with how much you send me a link to our thread
I know, I know I need to reply. My head isn't in it. You never politely bump me either, you slap the thread into my face whenever I'm online an hour prior and I hate it because it makes me want to write my muse less and less
If you really want to write, please send something to one of my higher muses instead of talking condescendingly to me in IMs about how I've "caught the bug" for another series and am fixated on it. You make me hate myself so much for having new interests and I feel so gross.
I hate fearing logging onto my blog because you just won't back down. I know you probably don't mean any harm, but I cannot keep this up.
And on top of this, you've forced me to ship my canon muse with your OC when I was clearly uncomfortable. She didn't have an interest, and you kept pushing. Then when I moved to a new blog, you became so attached to this single female character I have. It's unnerving. It's uncomfortable.
I really just want to block you, but we've written for months and I feel it's too rude. But I'm too scared of you to confront you.

🌴 I saw discourse in a fandom over somebody using nazi imagery for their muse. Years ago, I referenced historical text from a specific nazi because the character I wrote was heavily inspired (in canon) by that time era. Seeing that discourse now was a shame because media is usually inspired by real life events. That doesn't mean the writers support those historical events. To ignore history is to risk repeating it. Grow up.

Person B: comments how it's a shame they're a minor because the prompt sounds fun and happily wishes Person A good luck
Person A: wigs out because how dare the MINOR read their ADULT post, even though they literally didn't ask them to roleplay, or break any actual rules or laws, and says they'll tell all their friends to avoid them
Me: sigh, it's time to block someone else, and it's not the minor
🌴 Lately I feel like I don't matter to my small circle of close knit friend I've made through Tumblr rp. I don't know what to do other than think the worst and let my anxiety win. Any advice on how to go about this a more positive way will be greatly appreciated.
🌴 My dash is full of cliques who only interact with each other and nobody else. You send them memes, they ignore them. You message them, they ignore it. You have a thread with them, their enthusiasm is non-existence. The only way to join the clique is to kiss their asses with positivity memes. I wonder if those people know how cliquey and unapproachable they come across.
🌴 I hate when RP blogs have no dni or don't list that their dni on their main applies to the RP blog. Most of the time the blog will block me even though I don't know what the hell I violated. I don't fucking understand the mentality that goes on with people who don't have dni's when I do.
🌴 People in the RPC love to preach how unfair and insensitive it is to write current events or talk about them without filtered tags, then turn around and do the exact opposite of what they say whenever they see fit. Be for real. Stop virtue signalling.
🌴 I have this tendency to write a lot, not to excess or to fill the post with filler, but just more than a few paragraphs. I'm always nervous it will scare away partners, even if someone tells me they don't mind getting long replies. It always happens that way, even though I don't expect them to give me the same and they know it. I wish there was a way to get them to accept I really, really won't be mad if they don't give me the same amount of writing. It seems like there's never a way that works every time, and I'm tired.
🌴 It's funny how when someone writes a cis swap, they get run off the rpc for being transphobic. But when a popular franchise does the same thing (e.g. Fiona from Adventure Time, Casey from tmnt) then it's acceptable.
