Alright, Today I'm Not Exhausted.

For the first day in almost two weeks, I'm not completely exhausted. This is a good thing. I'd begun to really worry. Still sick, but not nearly as bad as before.

Okay, time for a PSA.

I follow a lot of blogs run by folks who seem to be depressed or otherwise in a rough spot, and I just want to let you all know that you can talk to me. Yes, even if you don’t know me. I really, honestly mean that — it’s not one of those internet empty gestures. I know what it’s like to lack a non-judgmental and anonymous space, and I’m deathly afraid that there are others out there that are trying to put a happy face on.

Now, don’t read this and brush me off like oh, she’ll never understand such-and-such thing I’m going through. Have faith in me, kids. I’ve seen a lot in my lifetime, and experienced more. (This especially goes out to my LGBT followers. Trust me. Trust me.)

I’m going to reblog this every week or so with hopes that no one will have to be alone in whatever’s happening to them.

Cleverhelp introduces a new tag

I’ve made a new tag to help me sort my resources and I invite any other writing blogs here to use it too. Since the #writing tag is so full of users’ actual writing, and the #writing help and #writing advice tags are not always consistent, cleverhelp has introduced the WPCDR tag, for Writing, Plot, and Character Development Resources. 

There are no specific rules for this tag, and nobody will pester you for using it ‘incorrectly.’ Just throw any resources specific to writing and literature in the tag to help the writers’ community on tumblr keep track!

Crystal Cove. A small spec on your map that looks like a crumb you might have dropped. If you hit the gas pedal long enough, you can drive right through it without even thinking twice. I just hit a brick wall.

I'm so tired of being sick. I feel like I'm going to pass out at any moment, and I've spent the day writing a guide instead of posts because it takes les creative energy. Now I just want to sleep. :-/

I don't know who else to ask (who I also trust as a source). Do you know of any guides to playing a character with Borderline Personality Disorder? I'd like to reference one in my adoption guide without having to write a whole other guide. I can, but would prefer to promote somebody else's, at least for right now. Thanks in advance, either way!

There’s really no one way for BPD to manifest in a person, since every person and every situation is different. The best thing you can truly do is to know the clinical definition and keep it in the back of your mind when portraying BPD. There’s nothing else to it, genuinely.
