For so long, all I wanted was for you to love me. To accept me. I thought it was my honor that I wanted, but really, I was just trying to please you. You, my father, who banished me just for talking out of turn. My father, who challenged me, a thirteen-year-old boy to an Agni Kai. How can you possibly justify a duel with a child? 

It was to teach you respect. It was cruel and it was wrong! Then you’ve learned nothing. No, I’ve learned everything! And I’ve had to learn it on my own. Growing up, we were taught that the Fire Nation was the greatest civilization in history, and somehow the war was our way of sharing our greatness with the rest of the world. What an amazing lie that was. The people of the world are terrified by the Fire Nation. They don’t see our greatness, they hate us! And we deserve it. We’ve created an era of fear in the world, and if we don’t want the world to destroy itself, we need to replace it with an era of peace, and kindness. 

Your uncle has gotten to you, hasn’t he? Yes, he has. After I leave here today, I’m gonna free Uncle Iroh from his prison, and I’m gonna beg for his forgiveness. He’s the one who’s been a real father to me. But I’ve come to an even more important decision. I’m going to join The Avatar, and I’m going to help him defeat you. I know my own destiny. Season 3 Prediction List (My Current Theory)

Episode 1 – The Awakening + The Headband

I think they will keep:

* Aang waking up after Ba Sing Se.

* The reunion with the group.

* Hiding in the Fire Nation.

* The emotional aftermath of the Season 2 finale.

I think they’ll adapt from The Headband:

* Aang attending Fire Nation school.

* Showing that Fire Nation children aren’t inherently evil.

I think they’ll cut/change:

* The K x A dance.

* Most of the romance from The Headband.

* Possibly the episode structure itself, folding it into The Awakening.

Episode 2 – Painted Lady / Sokka’s Master / Puppet Master

Painted Lady

50/50

I think the Painted Lady storyline has to pay off somehow because they spent too much time establishing:

* the mythology,

* the flower,

* the blessing,

* Katara becoming the Painted Lady.

I don’t necessarily think it’ll be the exact original episode.

Possible ideas:

* Katara continues helping Fire Nation civilians.

* The Painted Lady persona returns in the Fire Nation.

I think this stays.

Not necessarily as an entire episode.

Probably folded together with another storyline.

I think bloodbending absolutely stays.

I just don’t think Puppet Master will be a full standalone episode.

Sozin’s Comet

I think Episodes 6–7 become almost entirely Sozin’s Comet.

I also have ideas for plot lines but I could be reaching.

Since I believe the Painted Lady might still be in season 3 what if Zuko hears about it and shows up as the Blue Spirit to talk to her.

Another idea I had was what if they do Avatar & The Fire Lord as Katara is being taught bloodbending? Hes learning about the past and Katara is learning the negative side of waterbending.
