Ratchet Rave - November 2015

Thanks all for joining me in Ratchet for our dance party! It was a great turnout! If you have any feedback about the event, send a message my way.

Side note: I know that the sharing platform we are using is not the best, since Plug.dj has shut down there are not a lot of options. If you know of a platform that works better, please let me know.

What: A celebration of gnomish and goblin technology, a showing of the motion picture Men in Tights!

Who can attend: This is a neutral event! 

Where: Announced on the ticket. ((The invite on the in-game calendar))

When: 7 PM ((ST)), Friday December 11th.

Main contact: Isiehra, by ((in-game mail or reblog with character name)) for tickets.

((The Roleplayer group much missed Crescents (@crescent-ffxiv) events when they left us, and so now that we have a few people in our guild, we have decided to continue on in their stead!

This will be a limited invite event, as we want it to remain manageable. 

We will be actually watching a movie on a united platform (link will be available the day of), as if it were presented in-character. We at Roleplayer assume that technology in WoW is advanced enough to present a movie on canvas, and as such that there are actors (see Tirisfal Theater Troupe as an example) that would be willing to present such plays on film.

Really, it is RP and open to the imagination! If you are also open to these imaginings, feel free to send an in-game mail to Isiehra to request your ticket, or reblog this post with your in-game name!))

Thank you to those who attended out first ever motion picture night! It was a blast watching how the characters reacted to the movie scenes!

We will be doing another movie next month, on the 12th (poster will be out right away). We are hoping a Friday has a better turn out, and this time we will have some time in the beginning for refreshments and mingling.

Who: Hosted by Isiehra and the Ratchet Entertainment Society

Roleplayer! Social Guild on WRA

What is it?

<Roleplayer> is a project that I had in mind a while ago. It is a social guild for RPers to get together and get to know each other outside of a theme.

It is fresh, new, sparkly, full of promise... all that good stuff. What I mean to say I am just starting it, it is not established, but I would like some good, kind hearted folks to help it along.

Why join this guild?

You have a character that does not fit a theme guild, but you want to find people to RP with regularly.

Your character is limiting their RP due to theme, and you want to break away.

You want a inclusive, friendly community that shares a common bond (roleplay).

You want to have a IC channel that is not trolled.

You want to have an OOC chat that is not trolled.

You want to find RP events to attend.

You want to do content in a nice casual atmosphere, without the hardcore judgement.

You have RP alts that don't fit in your main RP guild, but you want them to have a home.

How do I join?

Read the rules of the guild here: www.tinyurl.com/roleplayerwra, then /who roleplayer in game and ask anyone online for an invite. (we are a free invite system for now).

By accepting an invite we assume you have read the rules, and therefore are willing to adhere to them!

The guild is small still, but as more people join we will be fast tracking people we think are dedicated to the project into officer roles.
