“Great.” Jonathan smiled. Though something told him Will only agreed to get him to lay off, he’d take it. He’d just make his brother something small, like a pb&j or something. As long as Will had something on his stomach and wasn’t wasting away or anything. Jon worried about his baby brother almost as constantly as their mother did, though he tried not to hover as much.
He spent the next ten or so minutes making them each a sandwich, and pouring them both a glass of milk to go with it. Finally finished, he carefully set the plate and glass down next to Will, then gently ruffled his hair before sitting down to his own small meal.
Will continues to work on his drawing for a bit before giving it up and pushing the paper away from him, either so he didn’t have to stare at it anymore or so he wouldn’t spill anything on it. Even he wasn’t quite sure of the answer.
“Thanks.” He says quietly as Jonathan sets the food down in front of him. He truly didn’t feel like eating, but he knew not doing so would worry both his brother and their mom. “What did you do Saturday?” Will asks, picking up the sandwich and taking a small bite.
