Blinking, Matt seemed oddly surprised that she offered him a drink, despite them sitting in a bar. Of course, Matt didn’t come here to drink– he merely was waiting for his partner. This was the easiest place for them to meet back up without seeming suspicious.

“E-eh…?” He muttered, confuse for a moment. “O-Oh, no thank you… I’m… Not big on alcohol.”

   damn.    that’s the usual plan out the window.    oh well, she’s confident that she can    still make this work.

           “ doesn’t have to be alcohol.                 what d’you drink?                       pop?                           water? ”

   she continues to flag down the bartender,    who is continually ignoring her.    okay, perhaps she’s had more than a few drinks.

                    “ where are you from, matt?             you got a fun accent. ”

Fidgeting a bit with a nervous smile on his blue lips, it was clear that Matt wasn’t normally one for social situations.

Giving him a name certainly made him feel a little better, he at least had something to call this girl should it come down to it, but when it came to what seemed like flirting and getting checked out, Matt was clearly oblivious.

“I– Ah… The name’s Matt– and I’m eh… I’m doing well, I suppose…”

         " yeah?      that’s real good, matt.               how about i buy you a drink? ”

   she lifts a hand to call over the    bartender before resuming her    gaze on matt. he’s a little taller    than what she usually likes out    of these kinds of guys,    but he’ll still do.

He hated it. Made him feel so nervous.

Still, he wasn’t about to be rude.

     she grins happily into his face,      raising an eyebrow slightly.

              “ how you doin’?          name’s piper, but you can call me daisy.                        what can i call you, sugar? ”

    her eyes flick up and down,     obviously checking him out.     she’s had a few drinks, but one     is always sober enough to attempt to get laid.
