ingoverned:
It seemed like Ingo only had the time to get one step forward in before Jayden ceased his running ahead and turned around, two Pokeballs in hand.
Oh, Ingo puts two and two together rather quickly, and glances down at it wide-eyed, hands still in his pockets. So we’re ready to take off that quickly, are we? Ingo considers the capabilities of his own Pokemon– none of which can fly, so needless to say, it had been quite some time since he had taken to the sky himself. Even if there was nowhere to be, doing so for the sheer fun of it, does arouse a true fun loving part of the Subway Boss that lay dormant for a number of years.
“I will need it, if that’s how we are going to go, thank you,” He speaks as slowly as he reaches out, not out of apprehension, but of wonder, some excitement, and okay, maybe just a little bit of nervousness after all.
Another question he beckons is what might be inside, as Ingo realizes that he and Jayden’s Pokemon have yet to become acquainted, and as any experienced flyer may know, the type of Pokemon could make or break the trip.
“Ah…I do apologize, but this is…?” He asks as politely as someone who had not yet been introduced to the host at an opulent social affair, lifting up the capsule he had chosen.
Without much more waiting, Jayden released his flying pokemon, both greeting the duo with excitement and the eagerness he always seemed to express to them. Gates returned to his home in his own Pokeball, not much for flying himself. His smile grew, moving his hands between the two pairs. “Man I didn’t even introduce ya yet, sorry! The Salamance is Hendrix. And my Noivern’s Slash. I’ll be takin Slash since he’s a little hard to handle sometimes. But Hendrix is pretty chill, surprisingly.”
He had to laugh about that one. Normally, they were seen as rather dangerous and terribly hard to train. But Jayden…didn’t have much of a problem with raising him. Maybe it was just a personal thing. He wasn’t really sure. “I usually ride around on Slash anyhow, since he’s more of a high flyin’ maniac and I kinda live for that. But I didn’t need t’ tell ya that.”
He couldn’t help but chuckle a little more as he climbed onto the back of his trusted Noivern. Already, the Pokemon was excited to be in the air. Even Hendrix wiggled himself down a little bit to make sure that Ingo knew he would be safe carrying him. “I’m ready t’ rock ‘n’ roll whenever ya’re! I’m already excited just thinkin’ ‘bout all the cool stuff we’re gonna do!”
