Yuja Wang – Rachmaninov: Prelude in G Minor, Op. 23, No. 5
Hii :D Happy Autumn for you all! Since last year this challenge was quite popular, I decided to to it this year too. If you are new here, this is a fun challenge which’s main goal is writing a short post every day about a piece/musician for a month. You don’t have to write about every topic, and it’s fine to do it any other month. If you decide to take part, use the tag Klaviertober so I can see your posts :) Also you can tag me if you would like to. I hope you will enjoy this challenge! In addition: because I wasn’t feeling very well this september and I’m still recovering, it will be difficult to keep up with the prompts, but I’ll try my best
Get prepared for the Chopin competition.
Klaviertober Day 1.
Vivaldi. Concerto no. 3 in F major, Op. 8, RV 293 "Autumn"
I decided to start with Vivaldi's greatest hit, "The Four Seasons". Everybody talks about Summmer or Winter, but in my opinion Autumn seems pretty underrated, or at least, it's not played too much often compared to the other three concerti.
Not only is really nice to listen, but it's also a good work how Vivaldi captures the enviroment of the season and it can be appreciated with the poems that accompany each movement. The poems helps the audience to understand how the melody and harmonies move, how the violins imitate the jubilee of harvest or horns and hounds during the hunting of a beast. It captures an event from the past and we can appreciate it, no matter the background we live in.
It's the first time I've done a post like this, I hope you like it!

Fourth screenshot is an academic mood
“your soul belongs to me and I love you more than life itself. I’ll always be yours. Our relationship is a secret and I can’t bear not being able to brag about you to my friends.”
