Hey guys? I know we're all supportive of Palestine here but "Death to Israel" with a Palestinian flag just feels like antisemitism with a leftist coat put on it.

I think there's a difference between "fuck Israel's occupation of Palestine" and "death to Israel" (and by extension, the people who comprise it). I think the ongoing genocide in Gaza has given antisemites permission to say things that previously people would have pushed back on. There has been a huge rise in hate crimes against Jewish people and you can't just pretend that those are unrelated.

Also if you're thinking "Oh, so genocide is fine when the perpetrators are Jewish", you need to work on your reading comprehension skills.

"Oh but all of my followers know I mean the colonial state of Israel and not Jewish people in general!". Everyone knows that Israel was founded as a place for Jewish people, and I simply don't think the difference is as clear as you think it is. We can oppose colonialism without implying everyone in Israel should die.
