Can you do a HyunKyung sad scenario :o where both of you are bestfriends? (I wanted to have a happy ending xD but I prefer you doing the story :D ) i freakin LOVE this page <3 Romeo FIGHTING <3
“Guys, it’s pretty hot out today. Let’s go out for ice cream after school.” I say as I approach my friends, Hyunkyung and Kangmin, at their lockers.
“Yeah,” says Kangmin, “I’m up for ice cream.”
We both look to Hyunkyung, who gives us a sad smile.
“Sorry, I can’t today. Seomin and I have a date.” He closes his locker.
“You always do,” I pout. Hyunkyung pokes my forehead, apologizes, and walks into class. Kangmin and I exchange a look.
“I’m gettin’ real tired of this.” I sigh.
“Yeah, but he’s happy.” Kangmin forces a smile. “We have to be happy for him, right? Because we’re his best friends.”
“Kangmin… he’s totally abandoned us. It’s been months since we’ve had time with him… This relationship, it’s….almost unhealthy. I’m worried about him.”
“I know,” Kangmin says. He rests a hand on my head. “The bell’s about to ring. We should leave.”
We walk into class and at the back of the room, we see Hyunkyung sitting beside Seomin at her desk. He’s leaning in real close. He whispers something to her and she laughs a cute little laugh. Kangmin and I exchange another glance and sit at our desks in the second row.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I hate Seomin. It’s just that she demands all of his attention, and he gives it to her willingly. Their relationship happened quite suddenly, and I just hope she doesn’t break his heart. Hyunkyung is my most precious friend and I would hate to see anything happen to him. I can’t shake the feeling that something is not right with them. I keep my doubts to myself. I can’t share them with Kangmin; he’s the loneliest in all of this. I look over at him, and he smiles. I smile in return.
The class passes quite quickly since it’s the last class of the day. Kangmin and I stay seated after the dismissal bell. We watch Hyunkyung and Seomin leave, hand in hand. He’s smiling at her with such warmth, I feel chills. He waves at us politely on his way out.
“This is such a drag,” Kangmin huffs. “Let’s just go.”
“Yeah,” I offer him a smile. “We can have fun without him! No sweat!”
“Exactly!” he replies with the same fake confidence.
All my worries vanish as soon as I enter Baskin Robbins with Kangmin in tow.
“I’m totally getting two scoops today!” I wink playfully at him. He laughs.
“Please, you can barely finish one.”
We order our ice cream and sit down. More people plop down in the booth behind us. We don’t think much of it until we recognize the voices.
“Seomin, you’ll take your usual?”
Kangmin nearly chokes on a chocolate chip. Babe? He mouths.
A phone rings behind us. I recognize Seomin’s ringtone and press my ear to the seat.
“Hey, yeah I’m here now.” She says. “...No, I… I’m going to do it.”
Kangmin raises an eyebrow at me. I signal for him to stay quiet.
“He’s going to cry.” Seomin continues her phone call. “Are you sure?”
Her tone changes as soon as Hyunkyung is back within earshot.
“Uhh!! Sure! Totally fine! Yep!” She hangs up hastily.
“What should we do?” I whisper to Kangmin. “What if she’s going to dump him?”
“Is something wrong?” Hyunkyung asks her. Kangmin and I stop speaking.
“Hyunkyung,” she says in a venomous tone, “I’m breaking up with you.”
Kangmin and I gape at each other. I can practically hear Hyunkyung’s heart drop.
“What do you mean?” He asks gently. “Did I do something?”
Now my heart drops. Hyunkyung couldn’t hurt a fly. Why is this happening to him?
“You’re annoying,” she says without hesitation. “I’m sick of hearing about your friends. You never pay attention to me.”
“Are you kidding me? I’m only ever with you. It’s you that never leaves me alone!” He speaks in a low voice. “I left my friends behind so I could take care of you. Why are you doing this to me?”
“You’re too nice, Hyunkyung. You and your friends are all annoying. Especially that Y/N. I’ve never liked her. You could never prioritize me over her.”
“Don’t bring Y/N into this.” He says darkly. “You witch. Don’t you dare speak ill of any of my friends. Say what you want about me, I can take it, but if you say one more thing about them, I’ll kill you.”
“I never should have agreed to go out with you.” His voice cracks. I know he’s going to cry.
“I’m going to kill her,” I say to no one in particular. I stand up and turn around to face her. “Hey, princess. Heard my name. Got a problem?”
She narrowed her eyes at me. “You. You ruin everything, you know that?”
“You’re the one going around ruining things. Just leave. Don’t come near Hyunkyung ever again, you crone. You leave him alone, and you’re surely going to leave us alone. So beat it before I lose my temper.”
She scoffs. “Fine.” She storms away, brushing me as she passes.
“Y/N…” Hyunkyung says softly, “...why did you… I… was a bad friend.” He looks down and tears spill over his cheeks. Kangmin runs to hug him.
“You’re our best friend, Hyunkyung. We’re always going to protect you.”
“It was too good to be true.”
“Don’t sweat it,” Kangmin says gently. “We won’t let anyone hurt you again.”
Hyunkyung pulls me into the hug too. “I love you two so much. I will never abandon you again.”
I’m not the best at sad scenarios, but I tried e_e
