“But you get to take a moment that you would otherwise lose, and capture it forever. So I mean, if you let me take a few portraits, you can look back on it. C’mon, please?” He rubbed at the back of his neck.
“Sure, you can take a couple pictures of me, I don’t mind.” She replied.
“You sound like a miserable human being who needs to just live-” He said groaning. “okay, i’m done trying. I don’t think there’s any hope for you.”
“I know how to fucking live, I just don’t like sports. There’s a wild concept that not everybody is going to like the same things as you.”
“You know….” kennedy paused, “saying that just makes me think you’re lamer than you were two seconds ago. especially since you’re saying you can’t take two hours off to watch a sports game.”
“Look, I’m not really big on watching sports or going to games. I love pre-gaming and getting drunk at games, but that’s it.” She admitted.
“You are lame.”
“I am not lame, it’s called I have to make sure I do my homework and keeps my grades up because the only reason I’m here is because I’m on a scholarship.”
“Well hel-lo Gorgeous. Please, let me buy you a drink…”
“I should be studying tonight, but I don’t think one drink would kill me...”
“Mm, you can have mine babydoll I wouldn’t mind sharing with you…” His eyes went straight to her chest as usual and he leaned in to give her a lingering kiss on the cheek “Good morning gorgeous, you look as incredibly beautiful as always.”
“Nah, I tend to like pure black coffee with a touch of cream, so I’m not sure if you have the same taste in coffee as me.” She admitted, noticing where he eyes were on. “And what a lucky day for you, I’m wearing a low cut shirt.”
“Sure, if beautiful means half brushed out hair and smudged eyeliner, then I guess that’s your definition of beautiful...” She let out a laugh, looking over at the boy.
“Please watch out" Nico said softly as he walked up to the other hurriedly.“I just planted thoses.”, he said as he pointed at a couple of roses. He had went to his favorite florist to get them and wasn’t going to stand another student destroying his work. Most of the students didn’t really care about the school’s garden so it wasn’t a surprise for another person to almost walk over the plants. Even so, Nico couldn’t hide his slight disdain. “Please be careful from now on.”, he spoke again in a small voice, eying the flowers.
“I was making sure where I was going, I’m not that stupid.” She rolled her eyes at the boy.
“The flowers are beautiful though.” She admitted, looking over at them.
Cora rested her head against the desk. She didn’t intend to fall asleep in the nearly empty library but after getting less than an hour of sleep the previous night it was impossible to for her to keep her eyes open. it only took ten minutes before she fell asleep with her head resting against her arm but the short nap only lasted a few minutes before she was woken up by someone shaking her shoulder. “ Leave me alone.” She said before her eyes slowly drifted closed again.
“Look, I was just trying to make sure you weren’t fucking dead. You should be thanking me.”
“I’ve been trying to straighten my hair for the past five hours, all in attempts to look decent at my birthday party, and I still look like a curly shrimp. Despite what you see on TV, without a professional styling team, I can’t get my hair to look like Kim Kardashian’s no matter how hard I try, and then people tell me they wished they had curly hair.”
“I’ve always been a bigger fan of curly hair vs straight hair, so I say keep it natural.”
Kennedy grabbed the nearest item he could find before tossing it at the person walking by, “hey!” He exclaimed before motioning for them to walk over towards him. “Are you coming to the Lacrosse game tonight?”
“No, sadly. I have more important things to do.”

“You realize you are interrupting my morning coffee ritual right? You better have something good to say, so let’s hear it…”
“I was actually trying to order my coffee, I’ve been up all night doing math homework. I need some caffeine in me or I’ll be a raging bitch to you.”
“Oh yeah! My mom was from Mexico, taught me when I was little.” He smiled and thanked the women as they handed them the tacos. “I have to talk to these ladies, I feel like not enough people do here.” He smiled as he led her to the tables outside the gas station. “Do you speak any foreign languages? “
“Oh really? That’s cool,” She replied.
“Uh yeah, I know a little bit of french. My boyfriend from back home taught me some...” She admitted, not realizing she mentioned her ex until she was done talking.
“Fine…” Axl payed for their tacos and moved over to the counter where there were two short little Mexican women behind the counter. “Hola, senoritas.” Axl leaned on the counter talking to them, “Marizel, como esta tu hijo? Es su dos ahora? Este es mi amiga, Ronica.” He gestured to her and the ladies waved at her.
“Hmmm, I had no idea that you spoke spanish?” The girl raised one of her dark eyebrows, eyeing the boy with a curious look on her face.
