So last week, my first ever batch of student that has completed a full year of training in MAD STREET with me. This is personally my longest commitment to any group of students, to see their growth and maturity over this pass year makes my heart so full. We've come such a long way from where we started. Seeing them from such young green dancers to them holding their own rehearsals, choreographing their own piece even was indeed gratifying. Of course, we had our lows. Some lows even almost broke us but I'm glad we pulled through and made it work out some how. Like I told you guys, we all have our traits and that is what make us unique. But it's definitely not an excuse to be ignorant about things around us. I'm proud of us being able to put aside our differences, have a bigger big heart and love each other for who we are. I'm so blessed to have been given the gift of dance and the opportunities to reach lives and make a difference through my passion. I'm so proud of all 24 of you, I wish you guys all the best in your future. Thank you for blessing me with your time, talent, hardwork & PASSION. Spent the most part of my day watching these bunch of 17 - 18 year old kids put together a 90min dance show that includes different dance form. Room for improvement? Definitely. Yet it's so fulfilling to witness their heart and drive because there's a certain purity to it. I want to find that back for myself. 1 MOR DAY TO SHOW TIME! Had the huge Honour of being alongside these 2 amazing dancers as the judges for the SDD VOL.6 prelims. Good job to everyone and I'm thankful to see Singapore throwing their heart out for dance like that. It's been far too long! Congrats to everyone that made it through, now y'all really gotta bring.
