I think evan would be the one to cook usually because he knows how to have a balanced diet and barty would be living off pizza and instant ramen otherwise but barty bakes when he's anxious so there would be cupcakes on a random tuesday or something like that

I think barty is a great cook but will only cook at like 4am when he can't sleep some sometimes evan will just wake up to a full ass roast chicken and no explanation

do you think dante was scared to fall in love. he felt it happening and it terrified him. but he couldn't stop it.

everyone who he ever loved left him. he'll never forget the unfamiliar look in his mama's eyes when he saw her for the last time. the scornful his expression his father wore and a 'stranger' disrupting his day. or the day lord aphmau disappeared, taking his brothers-in-arms too. he waited, and they returned, but they weren't the same people he once knew.

so when he falls in love with nana, he thinks she'll leave too. it's not a question of if, but when. it takes years until he finally begins to get over the fear. a daughter, and later a son, and dante is finally, at last convinced that maybe, this time will be different. the world wont forget him.

and the day gene comes, the day she asks "do i know you?" proves everything he ever feared. he begs and pleads with her, the same way he did his parents, the same he did with irene each night to just bring his friends back, please

like this women is beloved but not loved at the same time. she has protectors but no caregiver. everytime zoey or kiki or anyone talk about her not taking care of herself I want to scream bc it's so true!

she takes care of everyone and gets reamed for the smallest imperfection and was never given a change to learn who she is before she became crushed by responsibility.

she never got a childhood, and even the next closest thing, having a childhood through her children, was taken from her.

(in reference to his Youthful and Handsome appearance when she definitely thought he was an old man). garroth, who stumbles down the step he was on with a loud clattering of armor behind her, "W-WHAT?!"

i hate driving. here are the laws! if you break them there will be consequences! except youre also expected to break the law just a little bit. people will get mad at you if you dont. you dont have right of way but the person who does is waving you forward for some reason. here's the speed limit! it's not the speed limit, the actual speed limit is that plus ~5-10. the light is green but you're in the turning lane. can you go? should you have gone just then? the person behind you is honking at you. there's a weird noise coming from your engine; if you try to do the right thing and get it checked out, will you get scammed? you are driving a 1-2 ton metal machine rocketing at speeds unknown to humankind for most of history. around a million people die in car accidents every year; that's about one person every thirty seconds. if you take that seriously and try to drive safely then people get mad at you.

barty who has kissed all his friends just because he likes to kiss and show love that way and no one has a problem with it. pandora? lovely. regulus? punched him in the face after. dorcas? she's a lesbian so they have kissed just to kiss. but evan has a problem because he's the only one barty hasn't kissed and he doesn't get why. like. does barty not see him as a friend too? what is going on there?? so eventually they get into an argument and barty ends it up with "I don't want our first kiss to be casual" and well, they end up kissing, and it is not casual, because it could've never been casual between them.

do you ever think abt how Dante gave aphmau his amulet in s1 to prove his faith and familial love to her and show that he’d never harm phoenix drop despite that being the one final symbol he had of a life where he grew up loved and cherished and known and she takes it with her to the Irene dimension and Dante spends the greater part of 15 years alone and unknown again. probably feeling just as lost and forgotten as he did after gene destroyed matataki or borboros or whatever their village was called. and he never gets that amulet back. no one touch me
