hello tysm for the ask! it’s actually such a hard question because my favorite seems to change every day!
i love love being witness to quiet personal growth and found family tropes so thinking about h’aanit, octopath’s best teddy bear, gives me this pure, no-baggage joy… ophilia too, but i was also in awe of her ability to like, embrace and transform hurt and grief without being consumed in the meanwhile… primrose gave me so most emotional pain that it actually affected my gameplay a little at the end, and her fin card literally took my breath away because man, her life is really hers now huh… therion, onion honey, probably had the most cathartic arc for me and he completely deserved it… tressa may be the youngest but she already has so many things to admire about her and yeah, she’s a fictional character but i love imagining the kind of force for good she’ll grow to be… olberic had my favorite writing overall, and i just love him, his presence. also i could listen to him monologue for hours…
in terms of hopes, careers, values, questions, etc though, alfyn and cyrus are the ones i relate to the most, so maybe they can count as my fixed favorites! i don’t wanna get too personal or anything, but i was so happy to play as characters like them - let alone in the same game! i’ll shut up now haha but yeah, thank you again for asking!
