She grinned. “Atta boy. We won’t get caught though,” she adds, confident as ever. “There’s no chance.” Her wand stopped its tapping, and she prodded at her own lips with it instead, thinking hard. “Probably not. I’m sure I can bully a few people into joining us if I must, but maybe it’ll be more fun alone.”

Rory contemplated her words for a moment, thinking about a few of his friends, maybe one in particular, before looking at River and smiling weakly. "I hope so. I don't think I know of anyone who would want to go..."

"No," I said, craning my neck and trying to look interested in something over his head. "Not ready t' study for potions. I'm ready for a day of relaxation at the Three Broomsticks and maybe some Firewhisky."

The sun was warm for March, and I suddenly felt uncomfortable. When had he moved so close to me?

He grinned, "I've been trying to memorize Everlasting Elixars which I have the most problems with." Pulling out a book, he looked between the book and his friend as he listened before saying, "I think I would prefer a butter beer, but who knows when we'll have the time for them."

Rory was glad for a day break from NEWTs preparations and studying with the day trip to Hogsmeade. He had stockpiled up on his candy supply at Honeydukes. He then was in desperate need of a butter beer before maybe sneaking some studying near the Shrieking Shack. He stopped as...

Rory grinned happily as he approached. "Hello Amy. How are you today? Ready to study for potions? I don't know how to feel about it yet." He spoke quickly, which he felt himself rebuking himself internally. Silently, he watched her; her long red hair as it draped over her shoulders and her hand as it pulled it out of her face.

He woke up from his day dream suddenly as she spoke.

"You better." Amy threatened, a smile tugging at her lips at the feel of his against her temple. "How was work?" She asked, tilting her head back to look at him briefly.

"Oh you know. Work. Had that kid whose foot get stuck in the loo again. Second time this week. Can't say how many times this month." He chuckled at the thought. "I'm curious how he travels with that thing on this foot."

"Maybe you should just leave the baby naming to me." Of course she’s just teasing him. Maybe. "No." Amy leaned into him more. "I don’t want you to move."

"Perhaps I will." He smiled brightly, moving her hair around her back. "I can agree to that." Snuggling in closer to her, he kissed her on the side of her head and grinned.
