At the time this image by Huynh Cong Ut was printed, there was a strict policy on nudity, and there were worries the image would be rejected. This historic photograph of Kim Phuc running down the road after her brother, helped to end the Vietnam War, by communicating the horror in a way words could not describe. Today selective images of bodies blown apart and skinned by war are all over the internet. I'm wondering what actual power the image is performing in our media heavy world.
